This happened to mine and realized it has spider mites I couldn’t see at the bottom of the leaves. Dish wash soap, and 70% alcohol and cut off the dying leaf and it came back strong.
@@DJJumpdancer it doesn’t, I’ve tried and also the plants would be getting less light with my setup. If you check my lighting video it should explain it!
I’ve seen a lot of the reviews and none of them say it’s “too bright” Most of them are just how it gets hot after a while or how the clip is hard to use. I think Sansi is making stuff up so they can sell cheap shit.
in Canada the flytraps, sarracenia, drosera, and cephs all seem to do well in the frost and cold in winter, my advice to anyone is just dont baby them if you want them to get huge!
I do not! However this is my second year breaking dormancy indoors and then I will be sending them outside. They are due to be outside a long time ago though… oops!
My largest trap I ever had was from a GJ Goliath. I have a new clone I made that is getting there but still being evaluated, so far it’s almost surpassing 1.5 inches.
I get what the fertilizer is and what it's supposed to do. Butt Would it be possible to show and explain some data regarding it's efficiency on growth/size/time rates compared to other ferts or straight up not doing anything? if there is already such data out there where could I find it? thanks.
Yes! For information, real photos, and more please send me a message @snappyplants on instagram, or join my discord server which has threads on my volunteers experiences and experiments on their plants. discord.gg/nfh38Rd7dB
I ordered some pings from Carnivero and they're all suffering. That might be my fault though because I potted them in their nep/ping mix and it really didn't seem suitable for pings. I think all except for one are gonna survive, I repotted them into a better mix and the other 3 are pulling through but one has some sort of nasty rot going on. I did get a xs typical vft from them (they had a free mystery plant thint going on) and it's actually doing really well tho. I definiteky plan on buying from more reputable sellers (maybe pochi?) in the future.
It’s a plant I am evaluating. It currently has 1.5 inch traps but if it can consistently surpass that number, I might release it as a new cultivar. It has stout leaves that can grow upright similar to FTS Archangel, somewhat curly wavy cilia, and a robust/vigorous growth pattern.
