Slick. Read the book by R. A. Heinlein, 'StarShip Troopers.' The movies were pretty good, but the book is more insightful. In the book (Starship! Gene swiped that term? Good for him. The way of literature, I would guess, that is the why of the US Patent and Trademark Offices?), the main characters. I would guess at this point, it could be less that a generation away that similar suites might be in use?
This should be available to people with all disabilities not just to people with paraplegia. I’m a disabled veteran. Is there a way to transfer gyroscope technology to the robotics to help people like me to stay balanced? Like they have in futuristic motorcycles or vehicles. I feel that they need to make the sections of equipment, around the legs thinner. Especially for people that drive or sit as a passenger.
@Joe-cq7jb These effects play a crucial role in maintaining stability and influencing the behavior of motorcycles during various maneuvers. Basically it would maneuver itself from falling to its side or to the ground. And stay right side up without ever hitting the ground. So essentially, I would never have to use canadian crutches if ReWalk installs this on their exoskeleton?
Rewalk has been in the courts for years trying to get insurance companies to cover it, recently there has been some wins in the USA and Europe where insurance will have to cover a paraplegic person. We hope to see more advancements as the product is more widely adopted.
😭😭, my 4 year old was born Paralysed from chest down as a result of Spina-bifida myleomeningocele, could this work for him? Hes constantly asking me , 'mommy can i walk like my baby brothers?' , my heart almost fell to the floor a couple weeks ago, his 1 year old brother was learning to walk then my son said , "mum its my turn to walk now ", 💔💔💔 I'm wondering if they make for kids and if it would work on my little man 😭😭
