This is a good version of Mid-morning but I kinda prefer the song with the drums. I feel like The drum and bass combo helps fill out the sound during the ending of the chorus and transition back into the verse. Thanks for uploading, Mike. I wasn’t able to see Ruston when he came through Texas but I’ll get him next tour for sure. Do you have any videos of him performing Changes? That was the main song I was looking forward to hearing live the most.
Love it!!! I’m a new Ruston Kelly fan. Blown away at his show last week. Heard this song as was moved even though had never ever heard it before. I like to hear your cheering for him at the end. Cheers!
@@naclh2ocapo that's awesome! A friend and I were trying to figure out why Ruston Kelly doesn't show Cincy love now that's he's made it, and was trying really hard to decipher where it was at. So is he like a friend of a friend or was he just hired to do it?
... amazing how the story of how he wrote this song changes every time. I wrote this in a hotel room at 6am, I wrote this next to a trash can in a bathroom... I wrote this next to a dumpster! It makes for a good story but sounds like BS to me!
Yes, THANK YOU for this gorgeous video... but the singing along, especially so close to them and the fact that the performance is otherwise perfect, makes me sad. I wonder how they feel about that and if it’s kind of like when people are being rufe by talking. Just a thought.
I have yet to find a Ruston song that doesn't absolutely crush. No exception here. I'll keep looking but expect its not going to be tomorrow when the new album drops either. Thanks for sharing!!
