Nice work! I have same spec wheels, and I'm planning on putting same tyres. Did you put any spacers? I thought I wouldn't have to roll my fenders... Thanks!
Thanks for the video man. I'm getting ready to do the exact same thing on a 99 civic SI.!!!! except I got the bottom arms and the top arms to put in and replace.. and the driver side the sway bar is broken that little piece so I have the pieces to replace that too but yeah man thank you again
Can you just buy the steering knuckle with a new ball joint and wheel bearings? Seems like you could just buy the whole thing so you don't have to press everything in yourself
Bit late... Great job, and I agree, better to take your time and cover your arse as much as possible. For future reference, if you're ever doing one of these again(I think this applies to all B series), you don't need to buy a cam lock thingie. Honda thought of this. In the first camshaft holder there are two 5mm ish holes that line up with holes in the cams at TDC, drop two 5mm punches(or 5mm drill bits in a pinch) and that locks the whole thing. 👍 BTW nice NSX, cool doggie too 🙂
Really nice job on the brake booster. 👍 Those Spoon bits and bobs are gorgeous. Interesting that the first owner went for the option delete on the ABS.
good video but you competely pushed them out the wrong way lol. they basically fall out when you hit them with hammer from back side. thats why it took so much pressure to push them out. try going from backside next time.
I want to replace my shocks/struts on my 1993 Honda Civic DX. Nothing fancy just need new ones. What would you recommend (make of shock strut and where to buy). I want to do front and back
@@mexiricersgarage Daily Driver. I am the original owner. It squeaks alot and when I turn corners it feels like the wheels are hitting the inside of the wheel well. Everything is stock as I bought it in 1993
That’s a really good question. I do know that the Integra type R rear hubs would work just fine but at the time of doing this project they were a lot more expensive from Honda. I don’t think I was able to find an aftermarket rear wheel hub option for Integra type R.
@@mexiricersgarage Ahh I see. Because I’m looking into doing the 5 lug conversion myself and I work at AutoZone and we sell them here fairly inexpensive. The one that’s for sure practically impossible to find is the USDM ITR 32mm front wheel hubs aftermarket. I’ve only found those so far OEM Honda only. And I know I can use CR-V front wheel hubs but those are 36mm and I’d like to retain my stock axles if I can
@@MultiAdrian46 ohhhhh nice!!! Yeah if thats the case then itr rear wheel hubs would work just fine. I should have a 5 lug set up for sale soon. Shoot me a DM over on IG @mexiricer
