@Sweeper, another great riding video - you're making me dirt curious now. With all the water crossings is the title really 'Dirt Devil'? Wet, slippery, submerged rock riding is what I saw ; )
(Correction, it IS the Snake) was drying out after the previous days monsoon rains so this was a recce run to feel-out the conditions. Still, even 'Mildly Moist' - one of the greatest roads on the face of the earth.
Pepperlady at one point says "They're leaving him, AND THATS RANDY!" she was impressed with the speed and pulloff of the forward bikes. It cracked me up.
The amazing climb up my favourite piece of NC road system NC 281 (Canada Road aka Wolf Mountain) - in the worst non-raining condition I can remember. Ever. You could see the water while the gravel doesn't show well on camera. Normally a road that is safe to have fun on with limited driveways and good (mostly) visibility through the corners.
Sweeper, thank you for putting this together. Absolutely going to help me get through the off-season up here behind the Maple Curtain! Glad that you didn't include the Cardo audio when the pavement disappeared at 2:07, kind words were not said about the surface, the route and the situation in general 🙃
First time I've seen Kimble lean into a corner - you must have been really pushing him! Usually he/Steve/Donna annoyingly defy physics going through the Dragon.
Thanks for sharing! @0:50 I had a bear cub cross the road from left to right where Raptorman's rear tire is. I'm sure momma bear was close but I saw no sign of her.
