We can finally see that the work has started since last year and the most important thing is that we won't have to follow the tourists!!! I also suggest that you think about the same road, fast traffic around the agglomeration, for example from Krýsuvikurvegur to the roundabout next to the Olis Nordlingaholt gas station... so as not to drive through the city... for several years, traffic jams have been forming, most often in the morning, and it would reduce carbon dioxide(Co2) for us😢 There are more and more inhabitants and cars. Please think about it in the near future!! Regards😊
ánægjulegt að sjá að það sé hugsað til framtíðar og gert ráð fyrir sjálfkeyrandi/hálf-sjálfkeyrandi bílum sem munu keyra þarna niður þjóðveginn í náinni framtíð
I'm glad to see new developments prioritising people rather than JUST cars. There's a few who are still stuck with the ideas from 1950s (And current times in the USA) where "Intersections are great and roundabouts are bad." The evidence is there, slowing traffic, while also reducing stopping at lights, is better for everyone, including reducing severe car accidents for people using cars. Iceland is looking more like "Not Just Bikes" and "Strong Towns"
So what is this? Too much rain or bursting of something large or slide of land or ice??? Goes on for a while though! Well done by the way, the people that built the bridge.
