You talk of resisting nothing, but your prescribed practice of presence itself is resistance to what actually is, which is a state of confusion and non-presence it is necessary to observe and through observing, understand and transform - and this is the very begimning of becoming aware, of being a light to yourself and lighting your own way. You know absolutely NOTHING about this, and don't realize how immature and destructive your teaching is, and how clever but empty and heavily socially conditioned, morally vacuous and profoundly arrogant teachings of your husband which are not based on his own flowering of self-understanding but the conclusions he drew from a spontaneous ego-death that was initiated, apparently, by a bust of intolerability and self-hate. That is not the flowering of understanding and truth sir, unless it was the flowering of the truth of your utter implosion on the heart level and reversion to a demonic spirit form on the Earth plane having given up on the whole endeavour of human life which is to understand what you are and through understanding, love what you are and love what all things are. Are you two going to pretend to yourselves that you love what you are and love what all things are? If this is true feed the hungry with some of your millions and then you can really make a difference to millions of people that you say you love. What sane creature on Earth would not do such a thing if they had love for all? It would surely make them far more happy individually or collectively compared to you two for whom the loss of $10 million dollars would probably have no meaningful impact on your material and social lives. You are so transparent but haven't yet seen through yourselves. No wonder you never talk of the need to understand yourself, eh.
The questionner is giving nothing but a true, authentic human response to an intrinsically meaningless and spiritually as well as morally hostile work environment dealing with the casualties of a blind and violent social process which conditions it's victims to blame themselves and conditions society at large to blame them too, and hence these victims are in a state of confusion and lack any understanding of the true nature of their social, spiritual, emotional and energetic injuries and therefore are unable to heal themselves or take appropriate action or otherwise stop themselves sliding into untold misery. A solution is not what is demanded here but rather an observation and understanding of the problem, and we can do this ourselves. We can see that she is finding her social circumstance too much to bare, but is unsure about the best course of action, which is understandable. This is the reality of a dissolute, diseased social system that has destroyed us all as well as our Earth for the benefit of the wealthy and powerful like yourself and your husband who harvest millions from those less fortunate then yourselves. So the full significance of what she is telling you is only brought to light in relation to an understanding of the whole of the global social process otherwise you abstract the organism from it's life when in truth they are obviously indivisible. But you don't even comment on what she tells you and don't encourage her to observe and understand herself and her life because you don't even realize that this is the only true, authentic spiritual process there is, and your teaching is totally incompatable with it. Instead you recommend meditation. Could your answer be anymore trite then that? You basically ignore and dismiss what she says by responding with a pre-formulated, ossified, standard prescription, as if that kind of thing plays any part in a truly sane, human, healthy heart and mind. No - one does not find freedom through bondage to pre-formulated, ossified, sandardized prescriptions such as 'meditate' issued in order to swerve a more adequate response to an actual, real, compeling and truly difficult human circumstance the questionner is clearly struggling to adjust to. And it is an utter absurdity that you teach Eng in association with your husband - it is truly revolting. None of you demonstrate even a shred of love and compassion and the wisdom born of these, not a shred of selfless service throughout your whole enterprise which is wholly calculated to maximize profits in one enormous profitable grift, which is what you have prostituted your the spiritual condition of your husband's consciousness for - for the most enormous piggy treats any human being could possibly hope to have. And as a result you are the most painfully average human beings believing yourself to be spiritually powerful in some way. This is the power of your own illusions. It's an absolute disgrace that you two teach and only clear eyed and clear minded people will see this fact. All those stupified by a culture of experts and self-appointed 'people who know' in spiritual matters will be challenged and threatened by what I say because they believed they had found security in following an authoriy. But in absolute truth, there is no greater calamity in spiritual matters then following an authority, because love, truth and freedom cannot follow because otherwise they are no longer truth or freedom, and no law is higher then love. If I were you Eng I would not sleep at night with all that karmic debt hanging over me. Wake up and have some humility and decency. You are damaging all your followers by cultivating within them this dependence on authorities, when it is only by becoming a light unto yourself that the true human flowering of understanding can take place, and it is manifestly obvious Eng that you are not a light unto yourself. You borrow the dim light of your husband and neither of you have anything like the moral integrity to dare claim any level of enlightenment at all. For if you were to claim this enlightenment, either of you, you would be dragging enlightenment down to your standards which are far too low to be acceptable. That is the truth you two. it couldn't be more serious for you.
Are Kim Eng and Eckhart Tolle enlightened people whose life and teaching have been transformed by love, compassion and the wisdom born of these? OBVIOUSLY NOT. There is enormous arrogance in their self-appointed rolls as 'people who know' teaching and profiting from 'those that don't', but there is also an enormous and thinly veiled greed that is blatant. How sick must they be not to see this? And how they would crumble to see the absurdity that I see when I watch them pretending to be teachers.
Accepting what is within yourself is not the action of uninfluenced awareness which sees, and through this seeing we understand, and through understanding transform. Tolle and Eng don't know anything about this. Awareness doesn't accept or reject - it sees. You have been conditioned by your husband's emphasis on acceptance which is just more proof that he has not got to the condition he is in through the flowering of true understanding, which is to say, persistent awareness AND UNDERSTANDING of the phenomena of your own conscious life and activities of mind. No teacher can help you do this and the great teachers, like the Buddha and Krishnamurti, who Tolle quotes more then any other teacher I know, except a channelled text which also proves his total immaturity and lack of understanding, and these great teachers taught only the need to be a light unto yourself. Here are some videos from Krishnamurti, who Tolle always quotes, negating everything that Tolle and Kim is. I'm so sorry for you. You say your true soul mate is yourself, and sometimes you can see yourself reflected in others, and that is true connection, and you see yourself reflected in Tolle. You and Tolle are both deluded fools. But let us just see what you have said here. You're true soulmate is yourself. So you are your own soulmate. And this you is who? There is no you. There is a human life unfolding in awareness, that life being the complex phenomena of life, mind, body, society, Mother Earth and universe. Where is the 'you' in all of this? Is it the brain? It's the ego who you mean by the you, and it is the most egoic thing in the Universe to say you are your own soulmate. And that you describe love as seeing yourself reflected in Tolle, even though love is when the self is not, this just shows the level of doggerel, of absolute nonsense, in your teaching and obviously Tolle's too, even if the latter is so much more apparently rational, and therefore destructive. I can feel Tolle HATES the truth. He is attacking me right now for saying it like it is.
Does anyone have a good recommendation for a short video to help someone awaken? I have a friend who is suffering deeply with work and childcare problems. Hes constantly in a negative state but is very un spiritual so not realy into these lind of lectures....any recommendations welcome! Thanks
