Use it whenever it’s back on cooldown! Just make sure to use “Uncoiled Fury” when you have 3 stacks of Rattling Coil before using Vicewinder again since activating it will give u 1 stack more so that you don’t overcap and not lose a good chunk of DPS..
@Arnveld save one rattling coil at least for potential disengages and use it all right before u activate serpent’s ire for maximum optimization( 2mins burst window)
@@drzoidberg71 i made 1 mil in a day after dumping 1 day worth clusters lul, it was better than .05 recipe release. Idk if you are on light but buying the crafted hq gear is cheaper than making it yourself rn, assuming you needed to buy a few tomestone items.
Highly recommend using party finder for hunts over LFG to save you a step. Also if you're learning A ranks, healers are always appreciated since they allow everyone to get credit and people always die to mechanics hidden by the wall of WoLs cover the mobs.
@@Shadowfang2k7_NEW yes because instead of trying to apply for noxious gnash and keeping up the special buff / debuff.. you get "Honed Reavers" which buffs "Reaving Fangs" and "Honed Steel" which buffs "Steel Fangs". So you would just basically alternate one and the other (whichever glows up)
@@Shadowfang2k7_NEW and all the newly potency skills has increased so it compensates with the charged "Reawakened" combo to "Ouroboros" without the "Noxious Gnash"
Just play, there is no trick to it. I just hit 100 on all jobs a day ago and I'm a week or so behind the people who really tried to do it fast. Fates are stupid fast if the instance is busy. 500-800K every few minutes adds up fast.
The only deep dungeon with worthwhile EXP for leveling to 100 would be Eureka Orthos right? I don't recommend that lol. Too slow unless you're in a group. Duty support spam, duty finder spam and FATEs are gonna be faster for the majority of people. Especially when standing in one AoE is instant death in Orthos, erasing all of the time you spent getting there. Palace of the Dead and Heaven on High are good for 1-70 if you're a dedicated enough deep dungeon player or with a group.
It's not mentioned here, but if you want some ridiculously fast exp from 90 to at least like level 97 or so, the magic combination is Aglaia Raid + Azeyma Earring + food buff + Heat of Battle (FC exp boost). Nowadays Aglaia gets practically melted by high ilvls, and you can get almost 11 million exp in maybe 20 minutes. Each Aglaia run was giving me like 75% of an entire level in one run!
it is insane that all of these videos don't mention it. frontline roulette is over a third of a level for free every day and takes 0 brain power or time, and i really dont like pvp in this game (edit: by "all of these videos" i am generally referring to the fact that ive looked up leveling guides many times and have watched a ton and almost none of them mention frontline)

Dislike - WHY you are categorizing the jobs in this way? What are their actual values compared to other jobs from the same role? Didn't it cross your mind that you need to explain your decision, to clarify some reasons? If I was in your place, I would put this video down to stop embarrassing myself and would do a new, proper one. But good that it is not me.
DRG needs to have BOTH Fang and Claw/Wheeling Thrust change to Drakesbane for one. (and give back Shatterspine.... and DRK's Plunge while we're at it.) RDM has a 10 lv gap now where 84-93, Verfire/stone do less damage than Jolt III. Lower Jolt III to 340 and raise Verfire/stone to 360, then raise both by 20 for the 94 trait
Nah you are wrong on this one. This is completely about trash pulls in dungeons, it's not affecting anything else. If you don't hit the mob more than once as a tank, the DPS is going to pull aggro away from you while transitioning between packs. It's also hard to figure out which mob got peeled off you when there are like 10 on you. When people do dungeons they want the trash packs to be fast and mindless. As it is now, the tank has to stop to hit every mob twice to make sure they don't peel off until the last pack. Because I play tank, when I play DPS, I will watch my threat to make sure I don't pull off the tank. Often times I won't DPS until the tank has everything in position. A lot of DPS players will just go ham while moving though and peel off a bunch of mobs and start dying.
@@xxJingnothing should be fast and mindless. This is again circling right back to people being trash. If you want big pulls and fast clears it should be challenging to maintain the whole group on you. The new age gamer ruins games because they want to finish everything as fast as possible and want everything handed to them.
@@ethangraner7102 FF14 isn't for gamers though, primarily. It's mainly about roleplaying and secondarily about being a game/challenge. If it was genuinely challenging, fewer people would play it and it would take much longer to find a dungeon group/ have duty finder pop. It would also increase the likelihood of people dropping out of dungeon groups. If you play any other MMO, you know that making content challenging or punishing leads to extreme gatekeeping and thus 95% of the population not even attempting that content.
Don't know what they were thinking with this Viper class. It's literally what Monk was. Use buff combo, if buff is up, use other combo. Use debuff combo. If debuff is active, use other combo. This is exactly what monk was. Then they changed monk rotation yet again lol. Oh well, I guess we get yet another melee selfish dps class yet again
See if you can work around with it and try it out at first! I wouldn't worry too much on the positionals when you're new on the job class.. get the hang of the combos first then when u know ur ready to tackle the positionals.. do 1 by 1 like work on all the flank combos by going to the sides then when u got it then try rear combos by going to the back of the boss until u get the hang of it. Trial and Error at first but very rewarding later.
