It's in Loudonville, Ohio every 2 years. I missed out on the one in 2014 but video can be found with a simple search. The next one will be held in 2016.

I thought orange must have to be the right hand in order to make them work, but then one of the later ones still didn't work by doing that.

i think a whip catch is something different, i do them from split time same direction throw underarm so it looks like its going back to the throwing hand but caught with the head of the none throwing hands poi. it should spring off then finally lands in the throwing hand. check out Durbs' youtube he's got loads of variants. (DurbsBT) this is more of an air-wrap throw than hyperloop/orbital =]
Normally I agree... but something about it just made me nervous. Like I said above... it could have had something to do with being worried about dropping my poi in the lake. Someone dropped a Fire fan in there earlier in the night... so it was fresh in my head.
