Hello! If you haven't guessed yet, my name is Jim Griffin, and I play a multitude of instruments. I am an aspiring professional musician. Guitar is my primary instrument of 18 years, bass for 14 years, and drums for 12. I also dabble in keys and pretend to sing...it's a work in progress! I am completely self taught on all my instruments and I am a ridiculously fast learner!
"You can't please everybody, right?" That statement is probably one of the most important and least remembered adages of our age. Society would be quite different if we all remembered this, and acted in the interests of the majority, instead of the loudest voices. Sorry, but it struck me.
Theyre way too bright for me, but im using them for contemporary music school, a lot of our assigned songs are rock, funk, and blues, so these strings are great for that (not blues) These strings arent so great for playing soul, jazz, and the like, awful for clean tone styles If you just want to pluck the strings hard and play rock a lot i guess these are good, the growl might get annoying when you want to play clean though
i've used DR white for years and BBs for a few weeks now. Love them. Brighter, richer, deeper and sustain-ier than anyone give them credit for, I don't understand. I'm looking forward to a set of Optima 24ks that are pending delivery next week.
i love black beauties on my p bass. the BB's have amazing clarity for being coated plus you get the benefit of silent slides when moving up and down the fretboard. i'd rather regular strings on my j bass for the spankiness tone.
10:45 awesome review, I have been wearing in ear KZS but with click and the band and drum mix it is really playing it’s toll on my ears the sound is punchy and good. I have ordered a pair and will receive them soon through Amazon but I am a bit concerned I am going to loose that punchy sound with these ,
Hi, may I ask: How’s the durability of this model? Cause I’ve bought several DB22 model and the iron parts on both sides just kept being pulled off and slashes my head
Onne Q: Can you connect it to a little amp, too, though the heads out? I realized you did to your interface, so, I thought if it should be possible, too! Thanks a lot, great review!😃
my parents are getting this for Christmas. I’m a drummer my self and had to use my gaming headset , they’re noise cancelling but didn’t really work, im 15 and this will really help me a lot , this video cracked me up too , amazing review, im so excited to use this
@@jimgriffin3904 just a normal acoustic setup, I got them to practice with songs and tracks and I can barely here my snare and I’m worried they might make bad habits , will I get used to them?
Yeah I was super stoked when I tried mine the first time. So much you can do with it. Record, play through car stereo on trips, practice, plug into house pa. Crazy
I kinda thought about buying the slightly more expensive red ones that are Wireless. But.. I've read that the charge port bleeds in sound, so maybe this is my best buy anyways.. cheaper and possibly better for live practicing in a closed setting.
The most thorough review of a $40 headphone amp I have come across. Thank you for taking the time to make this. I think this little bugger sounds great and for less than $50 it's pretty amazing.
