Embarkation day, we ate outside. It was a beautiful day. The rest of the week was too chilly for me. 😂 There were other folks sitting out there all week, though.
I have never been on a cruise and I want to go on one so badly. I have watched other peoples videos and have asked if all possible. Could you video your routine? I've what you done throughout that day, and you did exactly that thank you. So much because now, I know not all ships are the same, but now I know pretty much what it's gonna be like. We’re looking at booking a trip on the ovation in Asia next year. Just wondering, how long did it take for you to disembark at the different ports (not the end of your trip)??
Very quickly, however, AK port times and excursion times are more varied than other locations. Not sure how it would be if everyone was trying to get off the ship at once.

The company was Juneau Tours. The excursion was named Juneau Whale Watch Tour. I think they have some good reviews. Not sure what happened the day we went. 🫤

I always love your videos. Been to Cozumel many times since 1988. One of my favorite Port of calls. My favorite place in Cozumel now is the Del Mar Beach Club.
We have not been since. Among E Caribb and AK, we’ve only been to CM once more, in May. We filmed the new port areas instead and went back to the ship to film other content. I haven’t received any info about large changes. Putting in the pool was the last big change they made, I believe. Their website is very helpful to describe the amenities.
As a solo dinner, Maranos was very condescending, rushed, and not friendly. On top of that, I wasn't happy with my meal and they basically told me it was my fault because I didn't understand what I ordered. Will never eat there again. Glad your experience was different. Oh yeah, and I am a foodie who knows what they order. Or asks if they are ordering something outside their experience.

The port in this video is called Punta Langosta. There are some Carnival ships that port here, along with many other cruise lines. However, Carnival ships also port at the Puerta Maya port in Cozumel. I am not familiar with that port.
In Cozumel I noticed that you said to get a taxi you had to go through one of the buildings I've watched other videos and it looked like it was a big thatched open air building. Is there a different ports that maybe you were at ours goes to Puerta Maya Cozumel. Can you verify where you get the taxes to go to Paradise Beach?
Definitely at Cozumel it’s as shown at the first of video. We also have a Costa Maya port video, which shows the yellow building with a thatched roof out by the street. That might be what you’re thinking of. 👍🏼
Okay let me ask you this what pier are you at in Cozumel when you're showing the taxes are through a building. Because I have looked at 5 or 6 videos of Cozumel Puerta Maya, which is where carnival docks and it all shows the taxes are in a long open-air thatched roof area. And as you got off you showed a Margaritaville. In the Puerta Maya port can't see that.
It’s called Strong. It tracks pretty much everything! The free version allows you to create a limited number of workouts. The paid version is just $30/year and allows unlimited workouts. We both use it.
My wife and I went to Cozumel for the first time a month ago on MSC cruise line. We were looking for a place to go in Cozumel and found Mr. Sancho's. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a secluded, safe place to enjoy. The taxi ride I think was $8 a person, which we considered reasonable. We got there a little early and staked out a spot by the water. The staff was friendly and the food and alcohol plentiful. Having a nice long section of clean beach to enjoy was awesome. If we go back to Cozumel we'll definitely go here again.
OK... I love you guys!!! We are going to Alaska next year, so I was just doing some research and came across your videos. We are from Florida and you guys are a Hoot!!!! Thank you so much for awesome info on Alaska!! Going to be our first time, we tried to go 2020 but you know what happened there! 😞 So now we are going 2025 for my husbands 65th and my 60th. Yay.... Thank you so much for so much great info and NOT moving the camera fast, haha. Hard to watch some of those other videos on you tube!!! LOL You guys do a great job!! 🙂
It took me a little bit of time to get my conditional approval. I forgot about my appointment and I didn't have an access phone number to Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport for the Global Entry department. I did however email them through the DHS, Department of Homeland Security website on the inability to make my appointment the day before. My next available appointment was after my trip to the Philippines that I'm going on in August to see my girlfriend and I spent $100 and I didn't want to lose $100 and I found out that you won't You still have time after the trip to schedule your interview. However I found out about an app through one of his websites called Scheduler which automatically notifies you of cancellations of interview appointments I think Nationwide in the US at any Global Entry entry or TSA PreCheck approved interview site. The fee is $29 money back guarantee in since I signed up I've had several cancellations pop up and was able to rebook one just a couple days from today. I think there's a glitch in their system regarding weekend schedule appointments because my local Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Jackson Airport Global entry office is closed on the weekends So I don't know how they managed to get him cancellation and book me for one when there's absolutely no weekend service hours at local Atlanta Global Entry office. I actually found out about the TPT trusted program travel through Korean Airlines through a travel agency that I booked a flight to the Philippines for when I saw it on their guest reservation website. And then my Google didn't found out more about it and then I found out about everything that she covered in the video about the cost, but not the whole beneficial expedited kios pass through. So I'm wondering with the three hour before flight check-in with the TPT would that actually reduce the amount of time that you'd actually need to be at the airport in advance or still follow the recommended 3 hours pre-flight arrival time for check-in went flying with a Global Entry or domestically with PreCheck? Curious to know what other people's experiences have been with this. Thanks again for the very informative video, much appreciated! Wish you would list the documentation needed also for the interview. Not sure if I need to know my employment history by heart for the last 5 years since I was a caretaker. Also the two critical pieces of information in addition to your passport I am seeing that I need as my driver's license and a piece of mail with my current residence address. Beyond this I'm not sure if any additional documentation is needed such as a birth certificate or anything else. Appreciate anybody's knowledge of this or I will call my local office tomorrow and ask them directly. Thanks again for hosting this video!
How was the cleanliness of the balcony? We recently sailed on the Equinox and had the corner aft sky suite. The balcony was filthy even with the room attendant sweeping it every day due to the soot from the smoke stacks and the dirty rain. We were disappointed that the balcony was nit usable.
Boyfriend and I are going on our first Royal Carribean cruise (and his first cruise ever) in October to Cozumel and so excited! Also so glad I stumbled upon your videos and I'm hooked now. 1st time viewer; great video! QUESTION Did you size up on the puffer coat to allow for layers? What is your Wick-away tops made of? Thank you. We are going to Alaska next May (2025) for our 50th wedding anniversary & my 69th birthday. I don’t want to over pack, but I think the Water Resistant pant and a rain jacket will be needed at that time of year. We are doing a Land Tour/ Cruise. I can’t wait!!!
I did size up, but really don’t think I needed it. The wick-away shirts are polyester/spandex. It’s so difficult for me not to overpack. 😂 The compression bags were really helpful. Have an amazing anniversary cruise!!🚢 ❤️
Included locations are the Windjammer Buffet, Main Dining Room, and Cafe Promenade. Specialty restaurants like Chops are an extra fee. You can see the EOS eating venues on the main RCI website. The choice to spend extra is entirely a personal decision. The food quality ranges from ship to ship. We usually either purchase a Chops+1 or 3-night package. You can find those options on your cruise planner online. 👍🏼
Depending on your age and family history, you might have the option of a poop-in-a-box. Ask your dr about it. Otherwise, just make the appointment! It’s not worth the risk. 👍🏼
