RIP RJ. One of the best in the business. Even as a Canes fan, I would often tune into the Buffalo feed just to listen to RJ call the game. He will be missed.
I'm 20 years old and a lifelong, diehard Sabres girl born and raised in south Buffalo. RJ was the voice of my childhood. He was the voice of our city. I've been going to games since my mother was pregnant with me lol. I've watched every single game with my dad since I was an infant. Watching the games together has always been our tradition, and RJ called all of those games. Whenever I hear his voice whether it's him calling the Scary Good goal or just a play in the neutral zone at the end of a shift, I'm instantly taken back to when I was a little girl during the 06-07 years watching the game right next to my dad on the couch
Every now and then I come here to be hyped by this. So full of enthusiasm and power. That Buffalo team was great. It's sad to hear his passing. And this comes from life long Red Wings fan.
Oh god if Marek Malik didn't Ice the Puck, the Rangers would've won this game. But he decided to be careless when he dumped the puck all the way to the other end
Buffalo Fans just think we could have these kind of moments as soon as next year with the team Kevin Adams has built we’re so close and the team we have now is destined for greatness
