Traveling the World Buying, Selling, & Trading Sports Cards Always looking to BUY NFL/NBA singles & collections.
Thanks very much for the shout out Arron 🏆. Would love to do another podcast/video with you and share the experience of launching the inaugural Iconic Cards collection, it was a whirlwind to say the least!
Defo gotta get Laurence on again and get the exclusive of what the next set will be! Thanks for the shout out! I always look forward to the pod on a Monday!
Yeah would be great to get the low down on iconic trading cards and how the first release went etc and future plans, appreciate that and appreciate you brother
Haha thanks for the little shoutout guys, putting me on the spot there! Luckily, I am close to the first video being filmed, all equipment is here now and I will be soon getting it out over RU-vid! Co-hosting the Vintage podcast has helped me get over that "should I do it" hill, I try to be a perfectionist and it really makes you procrastinate too much about it all! Stay tuned!
Great video and some amazing vintage items. These type of events and second hand market have always been best for me for vintage pickups. Keep up the great content 👍
Thanks mate, so many gems there got my eyes on a few things to pick up next time for sure but this time I just the Don King Signed Programme, the Salford city cards from the papa johns trophy final and the Elvis card
What I think people also need to consider with Pokemon to sports cards is the price of sealed products for instance, you can buy 10 boxes of pokemon these days to 1 box of the latest hobby box of smh product by Panini. If prices were a lot more appealing for sports card sealed product in that respect I think there would definitely be just as much of a presence giving pokemon a run for it's money, also how available pokemon cards are in comparison too, I can go to Asda and buy pokemon but I've got to travel over 90 min to get an NFL Blaster in person unfortunately.
True that, I think soccer cards are becoming more available in the uk at shops as you can go to a supermarket and pick up soccer cards now and they seem to be putting more and more products in GAME as well. Hopefully with more ease of attaining sports cards the more people it brings into the hobby
Thanks for the information and spreading the news...shame....PS - who the hell is Lewis Hamilton? some English dude??? lol jk. Peace, hope all is well! Keep it going!!!!!
Definitely agree with what your saying about Klarna ect, it's not really a great option in the card market & breaks in my opinion. At that point your no longer engaging in a hobby your developing a gambling problem, your seeking instant gratification but with extensive financial recourse ahead. On the flip side though what you also have to consider is the cost of sealed wax and the rocketing prices, this has triggered the "buy now pay later" generation to develop faster than expected considering the rate of growth for such products is normally slow and steady. Last time we saw something similar was those awful Payday Loans with enormous interest rates, that cause a lot of economic downturn because of the unaffordable long term repayments that in the moment seem so affordable when your financially injured and "next week you'll be back to normal"
Some really nice A&BC sets I recognise. Will have to get down to a card fair be good to compare to a card show, I imagine there’s lots of differences! Great vid 🫡
Depends on how long you can afford to hold onto the card for, short term bumps look for players in who could have big games with a lot of eyes on that game like champs league or the prem run in for example, even players like Florian wirtz having a very good season in Germany will probs win the league may get a big money move in the summer might shine for Germany in the euros so should have a few selling markers. mid term you got the euros coming up Mbappe will be the one to perform in that comp like he did last World Cup, and other players who could have a stand out tournament Bellingham, foden, yamal etc long term it’s hard to look past messi, ronaldo, haaland & Mbappe just for the mass appeal. When it comes to card to invest in rookies will always hold a certain higher price value, numbered autos, numbered non autos etc scarcity will be key long term
@@packripmahomes thats good shouts, idk if this is a bad idea but Ive been trying to target players like Paqueta, Douglas Luiz players that could possibly move to big clubs like man city idk if thats a bad investmet idk
@user-bw1om8ep2h not a bad idea, definitely a good tactic and there is always going to be players you will win on and some you will lose on. There is a lot of factors with paqueta like the outcome of his alleged gambling, how big is the city collectors market, do they want paqueta in West Ham kit etc, Douglas Louiz is an interesting one not many people city sell make a return and usually it doesn’t work out. He has shown his quality the last couple of year in the prem so I wouldn’t be surprised he gets a big move especially if Villa miss out on champions league football
@Philly_Joe how are you and the family? Haha Joel for mvp every year if he can bring the title back to Philly. Interesting that you vote for Tatum this year I’d like shai to win it hopefully get the respect he deserves.
Thanks, Packrip - nice interview. As a huge baseball collector (and fellow Mets fan) myself, really good to find someone who shares a passion about the hobby
Thank you, yeah that’s what the card show is all about, shining a light on all aspects of the hobby. It’s great to see baseball collectors & investors grow over in the UK
