When I hit CTRL + U to drop the saturation and lightness I noticed its dropping the lightness half way on the line in the selction so theres a dark outer half to the white line and bright inside two toned....does this happen on yours? it is too small to see on here
This is a great video although I find the quality of the photos below my expectations. I believe with that camera you can easily take better photos but always depends how much you charge for a tour like this
I was super excited when I ordered the new x4 but I feel pretty deflated now I have it. No RAW format in HDR or an option to choose 9 photos in a real pain. Worse still, if I take 8 or 9 manual photos with EV compensation there is no option to auto merge those files in the Insta360 studio. Looks like i need to manually export each dng and do the merge in Lightroom. I really hope they fix this with a firmware updste. I should have spent the extra on the RS 1 inch. I totally appreciate your instructional videos. They are really nice and informative. Many thanks.
new to real estate photography... just ordered the x4 per your recommendation nd got a DJI drone a few weeks ago... your videos are very helpful, and this won't be the last you hear from me lol... as I will have some questions once I receive and test out the x4. you ARE the DEAL.. the real deal, and I appreciate your candidness.
I also have the A74 and I'm considering buying the Laowa 10mm 2.8 for my 4k 60 (crop) which would bring the focal length to 15mm. Do you recommend or will I loose resolution because it's using the apsc frame? Thanks!
How is it possible for me to take video indoors without having a whited outside window while filming indoors. I want to show the outside while I am inside while taking 360-degree video.
Thank you so much for sharing but I still sending my photos oversee because I think it's more convenient, expending 1 hour doing that don't worth $10 of my time😅😅😅😅😅
OMG..... I have watched tons of Videos and your video is the best and so easy to follow. Like the other guy in the post said. This a game changer!!!! Thank you again!!!!
Great info, good video, but you definitely EARNED the “like” button with your “content creator” thing… I hate that too…. I do believe in todays world social media content creation is fundamental wether we like it or not!
hi jeremy , firstly thanks for your videos i have found them to be very helpful , i am in the early stages of laughing my real estate business , whilst i have a background in construction and have owned Lidar cameras like the BLK 360 and RTC 360 trying to pin down the best 360 camera to do Real estate photos , videos and virtual tours inc matterport is proving to be quite tricky, i was drawn to the ONE inch 360 after watching your previous video where you used the ONE for the walk through in video mode which i did like the look of once you had edited this. then i saw your video about the X4 being far better than both the X3 and the ONE, the only issue i have is i am not sure if the X4 is on the matter port list of cameras. so this might be a issue for us. In your opinion is there a massive difference in the x4 to the ONE or is is just with the 8K video capture. ? Please help this is starting to make me a little crazy. Thanks Jordan Spain.
If you are using Matterport as your delivery service then I would avoid the X4 because from my understanding they still have not added support for this camera. The ONE RS 1-inch still produces the best images outside of the Matterport cameras themselves IMO. For video the X4 is better, but if the 360 images is your main delivery then the ONE RS 1-inch would be my choice
I’m looking for a small camera to film inside malls, for mall walking videos. Would you say the go3s could do indoor light well or would the ace pro be better? It looks like this little camera does quite well in indoor light!? (unlike my go pro, which is great in sunshine and terrible in lower or artificial light).
They both have their pros and cons. Biggest con for the Go3S is no external audio jack. I would pick the X4 360 cam personally because it also has great stability and you can rotate around footage in post production.
Yes you can. Well you can do it in the phone or computer software but not sure about directly in the camera. It does have a time shift mode which is like a hyperlapse setting
That's a tough one. I would prefer a little more power from the light for the larger spaces but having the green spectrum from the RGB is nice for when I'm in closets and kitchens that use florescent lighting. Ultimately it's a question of the main goal for your use case. I love this little light because of how small and how little it weighs but I don't personally have the 25 to test it against
@@jeremydeihl I must say you def influenced me to get lights and I have done a shoot and I can already see the difference. Love your videos keep them coming !
@@JeanSebastienHeroux that's freaking awesome to hear! I was surprised myself when I did my first testing so I'm glad others are seeing similar results
Some can and some can't. When you walk through doorways it's especially noticeable, but that tends to be the case with all the 360 cameras I have tested over the past few years
Not gonna lie, it's not my main RE Video rig. It still has a lot of noise in that APSC crop mode IMO, but Davinci deals with that grain super easily most cases
Two questions: 1) How did you get the drone looking shot with a phone? 2) How much did you pay the deer to run across the backyard? I'm thinking of hiring one for all my future videos!
Hahaha that deer shot is my favorite one so far this year. I really lucked into that one. I actually used a selfie stick for the "drone shot" look. I have a full tutorial on how to do it with a 360 cam from last year
So happy that I found your channel. I’m relatively new in the real estate videography and I also have the a 74. The 4K 60 crop is an issue for me and I’m wondering if the Laowa 10 mm 2.8 will eliminate the issue, making my focal length 15 mm or if I have to purchase the ZVE1. I would hate to have to buy it another camera just for 4K 60 with no crop. My question to you is if you can make a video with the 10 mm 2.8 in 4K 60 on the A74 and let us know if there is resolution denigration.
I actually use the Laowa 9mm APSC Zero D and love it. It weighs almost nothing and can fit a standard threaded polarizer. It does have some vignetting issues I have to deal with in post, but overall for the price and use of the lens I don't think you could do better without spending a LOT more
Great tips! I’ve heard photographers worry about using an iPhone on a gimbal in front of a realtor. They think it won’t look professional enough but, my man here isn’t even using the gimbal! Wow!
Don't get me wrong, fancy gear is nice and goes a long way for first impressions on a homeowner but it is not required. Knowledge is the key component to creation and as your gear advances, these maneuvers will still translate over to gimbal work. All that matters is how quickly your imagery moves properties 😄
No problem man, trying to get my videos back to the roots of tutorials over reviews so the past few have felt nice. I am still using the Pixel 7pro and honestly its just OK. The wide angle lens on it is really nice but I thin the newest Samsung and iPhones are way better for interiors.
@MelvinDlaCruz all the footage in this video is actually mixed. You will see a variety of shots from the Pixel 7pro, the Samsung S24ultra, the iPhone 14pro, and a few from my A7IV. I did not label them all, but I tried to use as many different phones as possible to prove that it can be done with anything 😁
@@jeremydeihl I use an iPhone 15 Pro for RE vids now and I love it. SO light and easy to get into right spots. Coming from an APS-C camera, the IPhone video blows my camera out of the water. The wide angle isn’t as good as the 1x lens (which has a bigger sensor). I even tried a Moment 0.75x lens on the iPhones main camera but it’s just not wide enough. I’d rather have a wider view than perfect windows
You're not wrong there man. I made this way back in my RU-vid video creation where I thought it was more important to get a lot of videos out quickly over taking the time needed to create every video properly. I should have taken my time to make proper grades ahead of filming and not just use the ones I could make in the time of video creation, but I just did not think about it. I highly recommend checking out some of my newer videos made this year about editing if you want something more detailed and accurate to a deliverable shot on screen. I used to find it more than a little difficult to make a tutorial short enough they are palatable to the viewers while still keeping in as much information as possible. I have learned a lot since back then about how to, and more importantly how not to create on the platform.
Hey mate, great video, I'm a portrait photographer looking to get into real estate photography, how would you suggest getting together a portfolio, while i do live in an area of houses that are over 1 million, in Sydney Australia, not hard to find one for even 2 or 3 mil, I'm struggling for ideas as to how to find something to shoot without just shooting exteriors, any help would be awesome.
Honestly man, this is a tough one if you are in an area without lower end to offer images to for free to enhance your own portfolio. I am actually going to make a video about this topic matter in the future so I can think about it and elaborate later so stay tuned to the channel and hopefully I'll have some better advise for you.
@@jeremydeihl@jeremydeihl Hey, I went to the Insta360 Branch, and for some reason, they explained to me that everything is "normal." The heat, the glitching videos when I watch in the pod, the occasional distorted sound in the video. It's frustrating and I kinda regret buying this.
@restymacalisang man that sucks. I'm not sure what method you used to contact them but I have had to have 2 cameras serviced (once was a malfunction under warranty and one was my fault I had to pay for) and they never told me sorry that's how it works. I highly advise using the support link through the settings in your Insta360 application because that's how I got all mine done with no problems. They will bring you through a few menial tasks and then have you send it in for repairs or replacement from my experience.
So is there any difference between x3 and x4 for 3d tours? I know you edit your shots, but if it goes to Matterport… any technical changes on photo side straight out of the camera? Thank you
Question about drone pano. I have DJI Mini2. Shote 20+ images using the spherical setting. I could create a merged pano in LRC. That doesn't work in the Kuula app. Would you point me in the right direction to accomplish this? Thanks for the info!
Honestly, I'm not quite sure. I typically use Photoshop to combine my aerial pianos, and I use the air 2s, but I have never had any issues uploading those to cool up myself. Sorry for the late response, but if you haven't done it yet, I would highly recommend reaching out to kula's customer support and see if maybe you're just saving it in an outdated file format or something? This is actually the first time I've heard of this issue.
Hello, I guess you mention this in your video, but my understanding of English is quite limited. How many virtual tours can be hosted on the free version of Kuula (without taking into account the options available for hotspots)? Also, can they be shared without needing to subscribe to the "pro version"?
Sorry for the super late response here, I believe the maximum number of free tours you can hold on the site is five. And yes those are all shareable. Don't hold me on this information is fact, just what I remember off the top of my head haha
Kinda hard to find a video specifically about real estate photography using this phone. I learned about this phone while researching ultrawide lens phones for using for listing videos on a gimbal. Still good in 2024 you think? Do you use it?
The funny part is I actually do still use this phone for real estate videos when I have to. Generally speaking these days, just about any phone will do the job well enough for social media haha
I am indeed! it has a bit of vignetting on the edges but its super sharp and light and its almost the same weight as my Sony 50mm APSC so switching it out on the gimbal is super easy
It has been a while since I had the Z1 in my hands because I sold it, but I still use this camera for video and the ONE RS 1-inch for photos in my weekly workflow if that helps?
Hey Jeremy I'm starting Real Estate Videography Business and planning to get GH5s and Tokina at-X 116 PRO Wide Lense. What are your thoughts on staring with this setup? My Budget is $2000
