For years I had awful nightmares of being trapped in a building with long white hallways and panicking because I couldn’t get outside. This project brought those memories back. They even use the same date for the UN Agenda 2030 mandate for mankind. Look it up. When people want to get away, relax and get healthy, they think outside, nature, fresh air. They didn’t get many takers for the islands out in the water…..I’m not sure how they thought this would work. If they could have used all that money to subsidize citizens to work their own small farms and green the area like Israel and sell produce all over the world,….now that’s a humane idea.
I recently saw some footage from Switzerland and it was the most beautiful place I’ve seen, completely blown away by the natural landscape. Complete opposite to this sand and stone barren hellhole
saudi Arabia only got oil and money, they don't know how to spend it,, only american european company profit from it,, anyway who want live in glass and sand, nowhere to go and super hot ,, and top of that, the hoty with drone and missile and whats going on in the middle east its no no to no go ⚠️
What he's conveniently ignoring is the exportation of a myriad of human social problems to another planet. What laws apply there? What form of government (E-lawn likes autocrats and dictators)? What form of currency (the Federal Reserve probably wants nothing to do with Mars). What about private ownership of property (who owns the original grant)? Plus about ten thousand more. What if a hypothetical Russian/Chinese base nearby decides to get aggresive and take over (like that NEVER happens, right)? Is a defense are, or even a police department required here?
I am questioning, is it possible to make strong foundation on top of sand with reasonable price. People in this day need economic price housing not revolution.
Der Bildwechsel ist zu schnell, ich komme kaum nach mit Schauen und dem Erkennen und Verarbeiten der Details. Ich bin keine KI ich bin ein menschliches Wesen.
When ego gets the better of reality all your thoughts end up as a narrow thin line. I think we are decades behind this type of civilization. People are going to think more than twice before investing in a prince's dream.
Who would want to live in a Sharia run society? A country which uses slave labor from 3rd world countries. A country run by a diabolical murderer. As from all that, the city is massively full of untried, thus unproven technologies...And then the is the reality that once living there you will never be able go outside.
It seems so much more sensible to build it in small sections & to test them out before building the next section. But, building the whole thing at once seems reckless. Where does water come from, and why is a line the best shape? If any country should use solar panels it would have to be Saudi. And, they are. But, building a straight line across the country could make buildings hard to maintain. Why not connected circles?
I would have been impressed if the Neom Line was only one-mile long at the height they had claimed. I hope the shortened version is completed in the next five years. I wish they would decrease the height by 50% in order to save money. All the early hype... and now almost nothing. I'm really disappointed. As wealthy as the Saudis are, I figured they would at least get 10% completed. Although after I saw all the recent flooding happening in Saudi Arabia, it seems that all that money isn't being used properly. No water drainage infrastructure isn't very smart.
I hope it's cancelled. The Line is a science fiction nightmare right out of a Bong Joon Ho movie, waiting for dissidents to get hung up on the wall, burnt by the sun, eyes plucked out by vultures.
Where in the world can you build a modern city that is 1 Km long, 200m wide, and 500m tall for less than $10 billion? It will cost at least £ 100 billion for every Km.
@@goufr3540 the line is so cool you're a hater it is so futuristic it puts developments in fusion energy and antimatter to shame, animatronic dinosaurs and glowing sand are way more futuristic than anything we could have produced currently, such visionary scientists of Saudi Arabia have envisioned the line and you're a hater for doubting such scientists.
If the king needs investors ask him to stop all the wars he knows what the real circus is about and why they do it this is a vision in the whole world should have instead of greed and War murder for-profit
There are only a few highspeed trainlines... which means not everyone will be able to use these on a daily basis. So.. who is going to use these? Your prison guards and riot police.
What will happen is the rich will completely pull away from the poor. Gated estates and living on residential ocean going ships for the rich. The poor will probably not be educated anymore and will have a very violent society. The rich will escape all of that and get the best of educations. It will be a two tier system. The two will never meet. I think that is our future in 1000 years. Oh and the rich will have AI companions whom they may even marry. They will take the place of human boyfriends and girlfriends.
This year of 2050 is now just 26 years away! I turn 58 that year! I am so excited about the future! Let's celebrate petroleum, not demonize it! Electric cars tend to cause more problems. May we get to travel faster. Let's get to live longer too. I myself want to live to be 120. Growing up happens so quickly, so 2050 is no longer far away from us. Let's cure and eradicate so many diseases. May robots do so many things. Let's solve obesity, poverty and hunger around the world. Let's also keep conventional meat. I am definitely optimistic about the future.
