@@sammyhack I’d strongly check out a 6R80 swap vs the 5spd. I love rowing gears in my ‘03 5spd Mach but my ‘04 Mach has a 4R75. They have the updated valvebody that shifts more like a JMOD’ed 4R70 but is still a 90’s era slushbox. Was originally gonna do a 4000 stall with 4.56’s but think I’ll put the converter money towards a 6R80 swap. Much better trans, lighting fast shifts and can add paddles to give it that “manual” feel. The gear ratios in it are much better than a T45/3650 to go behind the 4.6. Even with 4.56’s paired with the 5spd I just never was a big fan of the driving experience of a manual 2V vic. Big heavy car with no bottom end and narrow power band of a stock 2V. Don’t get me wrong it is an upgrade from the factory setup, just not the ideal option IMO.
Awesome car! I have a 2011 Vic interceptor that I've been modding out and will be developing a supercharger kit. It will start out as an m90, slightly smaller than the m112 on the cobras, but it would be much cheaper than a whole new car and they have the same engine, so boost would be similar. I think it would make some awesome content and am looking forward to developing it. It will have an edelbrock intake, gen 5 m90, injectors from a cobra and some other various cc machined parts to make it all fit. I will 100% be making one for my car, let me know if you would be interested in one in the future. Hopefully it doesn't take too long and I can start a RU-vid channel to post about it soon. I wish I knew how to do all that stuff and I’d love to use a 4.6 4V out of a cobra for my build 🙏 same-ish engine cobra just came with DOHC unlike SOHC like the GTs and panthers cars. If you make content developing it I’ll definitely watch man! Would be interesting 🤝😎
