A born and raised Virginian named Chris. Some reviews and stuff, projects, and things I do and work on.! I have another channel I post my outdoors adventures (Virginia Outdoors), check it out at the link below. ru-vid.com/show-UCDvEhoH0sLqCYFFlwlEQOyg ...Thanks for stopping by!
Hopefully will do the job as far as powerful performance vs my gas weed-eater. Going all electric from now on with weed-eaters and leaf blowers. Cause my gas model is loud and and has a ton of vibration in the shaft.
It's just a video of the installation of a generator I threw together. I have over twenty years experience in electrical construction followed by over 20 years of industrial maintenance. I can assure you I installed this generator, only needing some friends with muscle to get it set in place. I hope you find it in your heart to try and be a little kind and not be so judgmental to people....there is an old saying, that if you can't say something good, don't say anything at all. Hope the rest of your holiday season is better than the beginning seems to be. Have a nice day!
It has a gel inside that when filled with water hardens...see link to it from Lowes. www.lowes.com/pd/QwikProducts-QwikPad-for-Generators-Universal/5001794025
You sound like my Uncle. 😂 He was born in Seaford, VA but lived most of his life in OBX. I appreciate the review. Planning a stay in the area. God bless.🙏
This one has the electric water heater, refrigerator, freezer, and most outlets and lights in the house on it. It could have more loads and you could load shed to get other items like AC, etc, but this one has a transfer switch and a separate load center panel just for loads that were selected for the generator. If we need heat we have a gas fireplace, and for AC, I could slap in a window unit I have stored in the garage. I hope that somewhat answers your question.
@@virginiachris64 yeah that answered my question. I’m looking to get one and I’m pretty sure I’m going to need a larger one than this. With the security system screens on my windows, I can’t use a window unit. Plus I have three freezers. Thanks for responding.
How do you refill the two 100-gal propane tanks, do you remember the last price you paid to refill? I am guessing a propane truck comes by your property to refill, right?
Propane truck comes, but we also have a propane fireplace we use also, so the cost comes from that mostly, and the price varies with the market. We try to fill up late summer when the costs are cheaper than winter time.
Good question? It would depend on the load and the amount of fuel. This is propane, and we have 2 100lb tanks patrolled together, I would have to do some figuring based on a certain load and match it to the specs in the manual. I never really calculated it. Most outages are not very long here in my area.
@Virginia Chris thank you for the reply. The reason I was asking is because here in Florida with hurricanes, we can be a week without power. I have natural gas that is not the problem and is for a single family home. My concern is the engine running long hours.
Appears to be the same as the Dewalt 12 in. Does it use the same chain? My son in law has the Craftsman 20 volt pole saw and is very happy with it. Thanks for this video.
Thanks for the comment. I do my best, I am not a professional filmmaker, just a amateur at best. I mainly post videos to share with family and friends, so yes they could be better. I will try to do better. Thanks for watching...and thanks for the sub.
Nice tent and setup. Thanks for the video. FYI There are lots nicer sites in that campground, A9 is on the noisy road, but most sites aren't, and are very quiet. 🙂
I agree these older C3 Corvettes are fun to drive. This one has a rear brake issue I need to address now, needs new calipers, but I am replacing the rotors hoses and pads also. Digging into the wallet, it's like a BOAT...LOL, I own a BOAT too, lol. "Break Out Another Thousand! Thanks for watching!
That was a nice little cut you had there at 49 just to your left. Too bad it was dead low. Frisco is my favorite spot to fish down there. Ramp 55 too.Nice day.
