Thank you posting this! My blinker light went out on my way to work. I commute to a different town, so my husband couldn't come fix this for me. Your video was essential in doing this myself.
@@mobeatsmoi still think its a leak point a point of failure. i was looking at indian i think it was and the oil pan seemed to be an integral part and i had this old 1983 honda 650 back in like 2016 it was kinda the same way
Oh ok… yeah that gasket I put on the first time was 12 bucks and I didn’t realize the pan was warped until I took it off the second time and got a better look at it
@mobeatsmo yeah if the pan is warped no amount of gasket will stop it from leaking. You can apply some JB weld to the area of the leak once you have the gasket seated and that'll keep it from leaking. It'll be a one-time fix but it'll stop you from having to buy a new pan immediately
Transmission fluid WILL leak when it gets warm! No matter which gasket I use, I ALWAYS clean the metal surfaces with rubbing alcohol, put a nice layer of gasket sealant on the pan, transmission, and both sides of the gasket. Good old ''Permatex part #2B'', not any RTV or any new snake oil! I don't get leaks!
What’s the black bolt screw holder thing called to keep the ignition coils down in place the black part the screw tighten into to keep them tight and lock down I need one of them replaced idk the name of it tho
Is taking off the fan easy for this model? I have to prepare to take the fan off a 2013 citadel and will it be identical to the one you fixed in the video?
yes its pretty easy there is two clips at the top of the fan one on each side push those clips in with a flat head screw driver and you will be able to slide the fan up
@@mobeatsmo Got it done today, took me an hour or so. I value my weekends so decided to tackle this after work. I was also going to install the external relay for my fuel pump and received a box of Ziploc bags instead of a relay. I need 1 or 2 more years out of my Durango before I get a new vehicle. Thanks for the video.
Glad to hear that you got it done! A box of ziploc bags tho that’s wild lol. Just keep taking care of her and you will get that 2years out her thanks for watching
my dealer told me that they changed 4 bad rockers and it was still ticking and I looked at the valve covers and they never took them off. Still had original RTV sealant and dirt around it. I showed the manager said how did they do it when the valve covers were never taken off. There should be new RTv on a couple spots before the valve cover goes back on.
swap coil packs 2 and 4 with a cylinder that’s not misfiring and see if the error change cylinders if so change the coil packs but I would just change the coil packs. The part from the engine noise video is called a engine roller arm the dealer has it for like 12 bucks
Thank you bro, the best channel for me, I got check engine I did the tunaup still light on with CR 2 and 4 misfire, and I got noise but that noise I think you did video about it but I need more details about the little part number or name if you can help me. Thank you
You MIGHT have some good information here but I can't tell. The camera is crazy bouncy, the mic sound is horrible, the lighting sucks & you don't speak into the mic. I look away & my eyeballs are rattling in my head after looking at this hot mess of a video. OMG.
Man! This video was such a blessing!! I am so happy I found this. I have a 2014 Durango. It overheated about a year ago and I paid some guy to come to my place and fix it- he charged my family $600 dollars. When I told him, it broke again (which it shouldn't have) he said he would come and charge me $800 to fix again. Came across this video and fixed the radiator by myself yesterday! It is people like you who are a true blessing to peoples lives and I pray you are blessed for sharing this video and information 🙏🏼 Thank you!!
Awww that’s so cool I appreciate that thank you so I also had to replace mine a second time bought a really cheap on the first time and it cracked but this is the most heart warming comment I’ve read all year thank you 😊 your awesome
In layman’s terms, many things can cause it. Most likely lack of oil reaching it. The best thing you can do is change your oil every 5k miles. And if you can, use full synthetic oil of the “_W-__” number you will find on the oil cap if you pop your hood. Hope this helps Tammy.
There is one 13mm bolt holding that bracket in on the backside you can use a ratcheting wrench or just a regular socket and ratchet. I used a deep 13 and a ratchet
