Sounded to me like everybody was chugging the same riff. If there had been a dedicated bass line, the differences probably would have been more pronounced. Personally, I'm annoyed at the current trend of muddying the waters. You have bass players moving to 6+ strings to play the squeaky notes at the high end and guitarists drop tuning 7+ strings to chug the low tones. It's like they're in the closet, secretly wanting to play the other instrument but unwilling to admit it to themselves.
At about 30 years old I was 5'6" 225 and 3 years removed from an injury that ended my powerlifting career and I decided to start a Keto type diet. I was dating a woman who really enjoyed her happy hours so I only followed MY version of Keto 5 days a week. My version was fish, chicken, eggs, cheese and 2 beef meals per week with Broccoli, Cauliflower, asparagus, spinach or Brussels sprouts included with each meal. No bread, rice, pasta or sweets. I was mountain biking 3-4 day a week and lifting moderately 3 days a week. In 5 months I dropped to 170 pounds and my energy was very high. My problem came with another injury that kept me from working out and my craving for carbs got me back up to 210 pounds.I've maintained a weight of about 185 pounds for the last 20 years even now at 60 just limiting my starches. I would like to drop another 20 pounds so I'm starting to get more disciplined.
The scale is a bad tool for carnivore. Your body goes through a recomposition where you lose fat and gain muscle. A lot of it is internal so you don't even see it. I stopped weighing myself because the scale didn't move, but random people kept telling me how much weight is lost. So... Yeah
We really should reach a place where you can eat Gras fed beef and the cows have a good life. We need to work on it because it really hard right now to not partake in cruelty. Because that's just how our society works and it needs to change.
@@johannesdolch I'm all for it. Rather than subsidizing corn and soy, the government needs to help small ranchers, but they're in the pocket of big food and pharma. It's gonna take a global regime change.
@@otfdurkioo I haven't measured. In the past my cholesterol went way down on keto, also high in dietary cholesterol. Some people see cholesterol go down, others way up, but what you should look for is coronary artery calcium (CAC scan) that will tell you If you actually have blockages or not, that's the risk, not elevated cholesterol
I like the fact that you are going about it as a lifestyle change, making sure you can fully enjoy what you are eating, and how much you're eating. Seems to me that would lend itself to a much better chance of staying on it, Long-Term if it works out.
@@Dionta100 yes, initially, most people who go vegan will improve their health if they eat clean whole foods. Long term, there are plenty of vegans who've done everything right, eating ideally, supplementing, etc. and develop health problems from it. It's fine short term, but not for years
Good for you dude! As a 3 yr carnivore who uses it to treat ulcerative colitis, im so happy you found this wonderful lifestyle. Im thankful there are new people emerging willing to take the meat message to help it grow
I have found there's a lot of diets that we will lose weight and should feel better if we're not doing the processed foods and lowering our empty carbs/ sugar intake, but the nutritional aspect of eating bioavailable nutrients was very noticeable with carnivore for me. I too found Keto harder and was not getting the same results that I am now . I'm satisfied and satiated and when I increased the animal fat /collagen intake , all the other benefits and improvements were quite noticeable, like mental clarity, mood, sleep , energy and all my GI issues I had are gone. It's to the point that I'm not even concentrating on the weight loss .
Today is day 5 sober. The first 4 days was hell !! Waking up early in the morning with cold sweats, having diarrhea, throwing up stomach bile cramping all over my body, my legs, my toes, my back my sides. Not having any appetite, not having any energy. Now is day five and I feel 90% better. my problem has always been also there’s no moderation once the bottle is cracked open drink it all. Everytime. For years. I’m 32 and im tired of it. It cost me relationships and cost me to lose the max potential in myself. This the first time in years I’ve been 5 days without alcohol. Every liquor store in the city I live in knows me. Smh.
Thanks for the great video! My powered mixer only has two speaker outputs on the back, nothing else. Can I use a splitter to send the signal to another small mixer to create an in ear monitor system?
@@red-baitingswine8816 I'm sure they didn't have midi guitar in mind, but it will work with midi from other midi devices. It's kinda the point to be a universal language
@@NickLeonard I'm on a motorcycle camping trip so it's tough right now but I've bee doing my best. I've done keto plenty lost 90lbs slowly added it back on it. Works for me too. I'm planning as of now 30 days carnivore 30 days keto 30 days whole food amd. See how I feel on Christmas eve haha
So hey. I just got a GX600 in the mail today. Its in fair condition i guess. Anyway. The distortion is weak sauce. Way less than what l was expecting. Not the fire breathing monster i was expecting. It sounds mega awesome with my Amptweaker Pro in the clean channel. Where my expectations over expected with the distortion?
@@thephoenixcycle8854 it is certainly a different distortion quality than a tube amp. It's more thin and precise, tight, but not a super thick saturated beast. Does it sound similar to what I showed here?
Day 34 sober for me, longest stretch in 40 years. I drank like you did for years, but it progressed to something worse later in life. Thanks for sharing and helping others. Binging on videos like this helps me stay committed. Naltrexone and sinclair method helped my quite a bit in this process.
carnivore seems to go against all common sense and knowledge i have about health. i suggest going to a cardiologist while on this crazy diet, to make sure u're not risking your life.
Alot of your symptoms that improved and went away sound a lot like they came from a candida overgrowth. Carnavoir cuts sugar, which starves it off. Whatever the cause, it's good to see you're doing well!
living in a place where i can't keep pets at the moment, but once i can im soooo getting a little dove of my own, theyve been my favorite bird my whole life! im so so happy to live in a world where pigeons exist!
Doves and pigeons are different - it's not just what some people think. They are different species within the same family - Columbidae. They differ in body size and structure, diet and habitat, and vocalizations and behaviors. They can interbreed, but their offspring like the mule (a hybrid of horse and donkey) is sterile.
Yeah the English words and the words in other languages are ambiguous in difference at best, but as far as actual species go, ringnepigeonss and pigeons are quite distinct.
I like making custom kits from all these sample libraries, some have great sounding cymbals and bad sounding snares or too verby toms, so its good to Frankenstein them a little haha
Hey Nick. Why does cheese make you gain weight.. im talking swiss cheese, and goog Quality American cheese for burgers only.. I dont understand this. Thank you.. Great video .
@@bid_wacker that's just the experience others have had, on the other hand, cheese shouldn't spike insulin, so it should be fine. Try and see for yourself!
Honestly I think the reason nutrition is one of those controversial subjects is because there's so much money to be made in having an entire population suffering from treatable chronic illnesses. Once you dial in the diet that's perfect for you, most of those things just don't happen anymore.
