Basic notes until you notice that there are like 100 snares AND they're playing indoors. Then it's like, 'oh yeah! Ok!' Also, the center isn't fooling anyone. She's definitely still junior corps. LOL
Nice! We toured with Crossmen when I marched Spirit in 1980. After one show we combined both drum lines and Float ran a few exercises. Then the hornlines combined and Jim Ott conducted a massed brass tune. Not sure what they played but it was loud for sure! Cool times. Nice to see some of the old guys playing here. Keep on drumming!
91 Crossmen: Everyone who marched in the 90s still has that copy of a copy of a copy of a clear cassette tape that your friend's younger brother's college roommate recorded in the lot at some show in Mansfield or Sun Prairie.
Omg what memories were brought back..the chimes from Russian Christmas Music...ohh and that screamer🎵🎵🎼🎼🎼🆒 so cool and so emotional! Your hearts ❤were on that field ...what a moment! Great job!! Not since the 27th lancers alumni was an alumni show been so good!
I am so glad these Crossman Vets kept playing. I have kept playing myself and spend a lot of time in the 'hybrid space" expressing myself rudumentally. Always fun.
When will they field an all age corps for next year? It would be great if some of the corps field an all age group just like with the B and C. Will this happen?
@@henne2k Hey brother ....yeah you're right those two years will go down in my books as my all time favorite drum features ....and right on for liking the 97 devs bro we was so clean I had to play louder to see that I was actually hitting the drum hahahahaa
I’m all for innovation, but this is what a screamer should sound like. Solos like this into a mic just don’t have the same energy, and end up overbalanced if played this big through the mics. Some things just need to stay acoustic
@@jordankay4754even if that is true, the screamers on Bb’s could be louder than the rest of their section also on Bb’s. Point still stands, it sounds better acoustic than through a mic.
