Born from the stack of VHS tapes I taped as a teen. I was attached to the VHS machine by a remote and it had a cord! To see your favorite video you had to stay up all night to do it, no internet!!
This is the extended version. Unusual for a promo clip. But they do fade it out rather than playing the full 12 inch version. Like all countdown guests, it's lip syncing of the exact vinyl release. Looks like Countdown didn't tell the band that Countdown were playing the long song version, because Dave doesn't fully sync towards the end once the song starts to extend past the normal single song length version. Check out the extravagant mix on RU-vid. It's the best, longest and baddest version.
I love how quick they are to include their absent cohorts in the conversation. It's shows a real warmth and respect for the part they all played in each other's blossoming careers.
I'm not gay...but really Roger Taylor was the best looking of them. But they each had a good, unique look that made them the best looking male band of all time.
Rich Page and Steve George have a long past working together as studio musicians behind musical legends like Kenny Loggins, Al Jarreau etc... and good friends of the Toto lads...la creme de la creme of what US music can provide...Mr Mister is the band that left a great print in the mid 80' s Pop/Rock, AOR music...timeless...!
