Ok, so I know this is a very cheap way to sweep cynthia... but i honestly couldn't care less. If it works it works. So basically, just get a cleffable that knows the following moves: Moonlight for recovery (unless your fine with using items, then switch this out for cosmic power) Moonblast (mainly to get rid of the spiritomb and garchomp) Minimize And stored power... If you know where im going with this, then you should know how broken this can be. I would also recommend having max friendship on the cleffable, cause i definitely woild have lost my cleffable otherwise...
Imagine you’re the Chanpion of Sinnoh, you’ve been the best for years, beaten many trainers that come to challenge you, and then you’re entire team gets one-shot one after the other. Gen 24. *Cynthia hearing the mc’s footsteos* “Tell them I’m not here”! “Ohhhhh Cynthia! I’m just here to beat you in a battle again for the 1,354th time”!
The fact a Pokemon so unassuming as dipplin can give a legend like Regigigas this much trouble may be good evidence of power creep, not that gigas was ever good, just that new pokemon are simply better!
Regigigas was designed to be good after the 5 turns of slow start have passed. Base 160 Atk and 100 speed was about as good as you get back in gen 4. Maybe if they made it have 180 atk it would have been decent ? As you said, it's the power creep that is clearly messed up : base 80 HP, 110 def and 95 sp atk + access to Recover and Dragon Tail for an Eviolite holder is messed up.
I feel like 5 turns is just too much for a Nerf. I feel like slow start should be there for 2 or 3 turns max. Maybe then regigigas can be actually good. As for Diplin he is just amazing. It is always fun to see not evolved Pokemon do good.
Another good way of beating her is Nasty Plot, you can sweep her that way. I used my Gengar and had him raise his attack with nasty plot and shadow balled my way through her and used Dazzling Gleam and one hit her Garchomp. I also used Psychic on her Roserade and one hit it. If you have a Garchomp use swords dance and dig. It helps.
It’s funny how so many players seem to fear her. But given plenty of people have played Pokémon for years, she’s still somewhat of an easy push over. Even in the latest games, with the right strategy.
I have a feeling that now those buffons at GF would go as far as replacing regenerator with any other ability likd they replaced Gengar's Levitate ... And if that happens we rebel!
If your Pokemon are level 60 when taking on Wallace, you should have no problem defeating him in the first place. I feel that Tailow/Swellow does really well early game, but falls off hard late game. If you play through the game normally and don't overlevel, your team should only be around lv 40 as you do the Leauge, assuming you use 6 Pokemon. Swellow won't be able to do this at that point. I like using a Gardevoir with Calm Mind/Thunderbolt/Psychic, as long as you get to set up against Wailord and use an X speed, you will sweep his entire team even if Gardevoir is only in the 40s. Or you can just level a Slaking and sweep the entire League with Return and Shadow Ball + heal and x items when he's loafing around. I actually made a video of how I swept the entire league with only one Slaking lv 36 xd he's really OP.
Um I see what you are trying to say, actually at the time when I made this video I only cared about a way to sweep Wallace. I didn't care about how practical the method is. With that said though I think Swellow is an easy Pokemon to grind. Grinding one Pokemon to the level cap shouldn't be that difficult. And thank you for commenting.
@@dragon_master6052 I am not exactly sure but I don't think you will need to kill starlies. You can just feed it Carbos which will increase its speed. Afterall you only need to get enough ev's to outspeed lucario. You can just use ice shard on the Garchomp.
