Super sad but the stream literally died at the exact moment and there was nothing I could do to recover that last section. :( I did see it and when I rebooted the stream I talked about it. RIP
You had quite the struggle against Zophar. But your setup wasn't ideal. Hiro not been able to use his magic (Triple sword +attack boost+a better crest gives ~2400-3000 damage per round instead of 240 his attack), no Goddess crest, no good resistance against elemental attacks (i think only 1 elemental ring and no Spirit talisman, why?), no protection on Hiro against status changes, or some healing rings. Well, some people like the struggle. I would say blame the save states, without them, you would have been forced to check your equipment for a second try.🍿🍿

Idk if you know, but during Golden Tager activation, you’re able to hold the C button and spin your stick and release the C button to activate the laser attack. When you spin the stick while holding C you delay the laser and the longer it’s delayed the stronger the attack. Besides that, focusing on getting good at the Golden Tager input and being consistent with it is important since the faster you can activate the faster you can start delaying the laser since every second matters. Even the tiniest fractions of a second.
I have to say: this game does benefits itself a LOT of having japanese dub in the EVO version, it's sad that version cannot be ported anywhere because of legal issues. I kinda hate how Falcom just don't do things themselves to release a game in multiple countries.
Probably.. although sadly I didn’t know about the Evolution update until I was like halfway through SC I think?? So I just said “screw it, I’ll voice it as I’m already doing” Definitely would’ve applied that update had I known earlier though

This boss that i hate is Jasper, I hate this boss because it captures Erik and it makes me Rage Quit. Vaati, Dracula and Sephiroth are way 1 trillion times better than Jasper!
There are both orchestral and synthesized versions of all themes from past games. Pretty much all DQ games reused the same music, with the exception of new tracks for new games. You can compare DQ11 music with Heroes, Builders and I'm positive that Monsters and Treasures also use the exact same music.
About the Sewer children, the Goatherd and other characters, if you give what they want you'll be able to get another things, that is part of the 1st Quest Chain, and about Fugue, he uses a spell with single appearance called Deus Ex Machina and it is the only power to get a 125% of attack, a heart please
I feel sad when Thief Slur was left behind at the Forte Castle dungeon, if he and the pary were at the same jail, he would be a party member, a heart please I like this game
Interesting. I didn’t know about the scan trophy. Although I’m not too keen on hunting trophies because I’m not crazy about unlocks AFTER beating the game.
Except those trophies in game ARE used to actually unlock NG+ content ie you collect points in game via those trophies in order to transfer over lvs etc. Its just that its best to scan nearly ALL the 1 time only enemies though BOTH Zero/Trails from Azure have NG+ only enemies
I kept Fargo/Starky in the party steal from EVERY boss here besides the Dragon God I for the 6 dragon bosses NEVER fight them WITHOUT Fargo in the party.
Vito Unos has the Most useful item drop the Vigora element so enter the "Present" island of the 3 LAST to fight it Fargo/Starky never left my party for the rest of the game.
and have Fargo steal the respective elemental armors off all 6 bosses however the Black Dragon boss requires a subquest to fight it but that quest IS a permanently missable one. So NEVER fight the 6 dragon bosses without him and Riddel sucks for the ENTIRE game.
Harlie leaves permanently shortly AFTER all these battles so IMHO she is NOT worth using FOR the fights because of that so I used Stark + Zoah/Karsh instead.
However I did the save Kid route first run so while the Einlanzer is required to beat the game I could NEVER actually equip it as a weapon since I'll never have Glenn in the party on a 1st run Also do NOT use Harlie against BOTH Garai/Miguel she will likely die in 1 hit.
However you can't fight Harlie Save Kid route to Steal the Moon glasses off of her Hermit's Hideout once you enter the GHOST Ship itself so fight her FIRST. On the Don't Save Kid route she isn't worth fighting due to like the 1% drop rate for it.
Sadly I had already done that fight last stream/video and I forgot to pilfer.. :( I’m trying to get into the habit of actually using pilfer with this stream here onward.
