Hi There Welcome To My Channel My Name is Conor AKA (Welsh Poképicker).
I'm a massive fan and collector of Pokémon based in South Wales and I love finding vintage toys, books or any sort of collectables in charity shops, carboot sales to resell for the PokéFund so I can buy nerdy Pokémon items or graded cards for the PokéCave.
So I do hope everyone will enjoy this channel and please make sure to click that bell to be notified for new videos and make sure to Thunderpunch, Bubble Beam, Rock Smash, Earthquake that subscribe button to support the channel thanks 😎✌
Hi there mate what Cardiff show? The Cardiff Card Show isn't until September 28th and next week I'm going to the Heritage Park carboot sale on Saturday
Just watched your recent video mate and I would have definitely picked up them he-man books because even though they don't fetch much it's saving them because if the shop can't sell them they would be happy throwing to tip, I might go to Swansea next week to do some filming might wear my Cardiff City FC shirt and find a decent pub 🍺 after hunting and most probably be beaten up lol 🤣 but if I find some bargains I won't care at that point.
Great video, I really look forward to new ones and I’m just about finished binge watching all your old ones (all fab btw). I absolutely love the ones with the card show footage (my faves) 😁
I really do appreciate that and I'm hoping to improve on my content for future videos and I'm chuffed that you guys are enjoying my videos, Hope you have a lovely weekend and keep an eye open for more vids 😊
Because I've only got to take off ebay Fees and postage plus I'm in no rush to sell as I'm only doing it to fund the hobby/PokéCave so it just makes it easier for me, hope you still enjoyed the video and have a lovely weekend 😊
Great video as always! 👍🏽😎. I had a major score yesterday at my local charity shop, a boxed Gameboy colour and Pokémon games, got super lucky as somebody just donated it in.
Woah 🤯 that would have made a awesome video if I found something like that plus probably either kept some of the games or traded into CeX for free vouchers towards boxed games, I'm glad that you enjoyed the video mate I really appreciate all the great comments 👍
@@WelshPokePicker I was smiling all day 😅, still can’t quite believe it. Pokémon yellow boxed and Pokémon gold 😬, still in mint condition. I was thinking it must of been from a collector as there’s no way all the games and boxes were kept in that shape for all these years without care. The price I paid for it all was an absolute steal.
I know should have picked that up as well 😒 the boys on group chat said to me to pick up the Harlequins one up but forgot about the Cardiff Blues jacket, I'm still on the learning curve with clothing and I'm glad that you enjoyed the video.
@@WelshPokePicker vintage rugby shirts in general go for good money. I've got a load of them in my drawer dating back to the 1980s that are worth over £100 each. I will get around to listing them eventually.
@@WelshPokePicker not really into pokemon but am into reselling and dumster diving which is were I found it,in a charity bin around the back!it truly is immaculate, do you have a ball park figure on what it's worth? Liking your videos so far, helps to know what's worth picking up
yassss absolutely love when you guys meet up! always makes for the best content. you got SO MUCH Stock! can't wait for the day I get to join you both 😁💪🏻
Ahh man.... When you say things like ''That looks vintage? what year is it? 2000... That's old'' By Christ...... I feel ancient when i was born in 1979
Ian remembered the last time he dared venture up into the Welsh Pokepicker's territory! He was unceremoniously chased back down the valley towards Cardiff. Talk about filling his boots though. Con literally filled his boot, whilst Ian was left with just a few rogue scraps. Hilarious 😂
@@MasterofPieces the look of fear in your eyes was palpable, Ian! I bet Con made you carry his twenty bags of stuff from the car and to place it neatly in his Poke Cave? Hilarious.
@@Zeb_Vision Ian learnt his lesson based on previous engagements. What's Con's is Con's, what's Ian's is Con's and what they decide to share also ultimately belongs to Con.
Thank you very much I'm glad that people are discovering and enjoying my channel/videos I really do appreciate that you enjoy watching my channel and welcome to the Poképicker family.
Lovely book, excited to hear what you manage to sell it for. I would have had to read it first though! I don't go to Pontypridd that often, but always pick up loads of books when I do - love the market too!
You were very lucky getting that book as I know there is a book dealer who buys a lot from there, ponty used to be my fave chazza town sadly they seem to be going one by one
It's a right shame that's why I made the PokéFund because I don't mind sometimes paying more for items as I know I can cover the costs because I might need item to bundle.
@@WelshPokePicker Jigsaw puzzle brand to look out for is Wentworth m8 they make wooden piece jigsaws . Sale really well . I don’t do much with jigsaws either occasionally if the subject matter is interesting. But Wentworth definitely keep eye out for them.
@@pyschocurt I'm not your pal, and ripping off charities is not something that decent people do. Now off you pop, there must be an old lady to push down some stairs, somewhere.
Someone told me that Barnardo's is reopening as they had a fire hoping it wasn't set on purpose but it's a shame on the bridal one, got some decent brass for cheap from there.
