The designs themselves could have been polished a bit more. What I really don't like is that they have a messy lore, and they don't compare to forms like Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre, Mega Rayquaza, Ultra Necrozma or Eternamax Eternatus in terms of power.
I feel heart broken about these forms. I get why people hate them but I’m not offended by their designs at all. The only fix I can think of for dialga without changing it too much is just move the throat thing down to where it is in base form. The legs I have no issue with. I think palkia’s would look more clunky with arms added personally. You’re saying they could have done better or more but what exactly is the more that they could have done? I’ve seen interpretations that make them still look like arceus (but something is off even if they look better than the forms we got) or them miss the point and do a different approach, which I don’t know how to feel about because I also like the idea of them looking like arceus just like the video said but the designs are just so hard to get right. It sucks they will stay like that forever because Pokemon don’t get redesigns unless it’s them getting a new form but these ARE those said forms. I guess they aren’t like that forever technically because you could just use their base forms but then these forms are pointless which sucks because like this video says, they are wasted potential.
cold, please buy the comics very good in my opinion. It gives you a different perspective of pokemon if you were only an anime watcher initially. And for the subtitles not working, I'm not sure, been trying to fix it, but for some reason this video only, I can't :(
You guys are wrong and everyone is wrong about Yu-Gi-Oh. I've been playing the Meta since 2002, which was Exodia FTK. This game has always been about shutting down your opponent and winning as fast as possible
You know as much as i dislike and like playing master duel i keep playing it but meta needs to go they ruin the fun for rookie players including myself
I should have made it clear, which is my bad. I DO enjoy playing Master Duel. I just want to explain that there is so much more META now then there was before, and so much more decks you have to build and learn compared to when YUGIOH was first created. I still play the game and love the game, I know the game is constantly changing and we have to adapt if we want to keep on playing and winning. But this video was made to just explain my thoughts on the current state of yugioh and how it has changed! With so many Meta changes it is sometimes hard to keep old players and bring new players to the game! Thanks for reading this!
If i may critique your video, I think there are two major issues Ever since Master Duel has made it easier than ever to roll up with bad decks and see some amount of success due to the ranking system (mainly by staying around Gold). Ojamas probably isnt getting to Masters 1 any time soon, but it isnt as obsolete and bad as taking it to a bigger tournament to get more than three rounds with it. I think my second critique is about the length of the game. Although it's objectively true that the turns are getting longer... that's always been true? Of course, the formats will shift between longer and shorter turns, but it feels weird to pretend that a lot of older decks didn't also take ages. The main difference is that Konami is has clearly started incentivizing playing on your opponent's turn with our of archetype and in archetype hand traps. If you're still not enjoying modern YGO, however, may I suggest looking at older formats? There are some great discord channels for them, and Edison format is a GREAT place to start. (Mostly) super balanced, you need to know what cards to place down and what cards to use, and it's super popular! I hope you can find a way to start enjoying the game again
I do like the game. I'm sorry I wasn't specific enough. I was just explaining that since the Meta is changing so much more and people have to sometimes craft new decks in order to keep up with the Meta. Sometimes people would get frustrated of how much a new deck is already the Meta of a game, and they just finished fully crafting the last meta in order to compete. And as you know the Meta is constantly changing and people have to make new decks in order to win or play. And I totally understand that. I'm just wanted to give my opinion on how fast the Meta changes, and how sometimes it could be hard to keep old and bring new players to play the new style of Yu-Gi-Oh. I share the sentiment that its not that fun to have 10k cards in your game and 500 at most are playable, but there not much way around this, rogue will aways have a hard time going against Meta. The only solution I see is having alternative formats, a thing that Master Duel is really bad at. But even then its would still be problems, because there would still be Metas at those formats and not every deck would be viable. And the summoning methods is something that I dont get why people make a problem (with the exception of Pendulums), its not that hard and most of the time you just need to know what your deck does and disrupt the normal summon and you win. But good video, would be a 9/10 but since you play Kash 7/10.
well, i use both meta decks and fun decks, i love playing both of those type, my main fun deck its gunkan and dammn its hella funny, speciallyt when people forgot that the negate of the rank 5 its permanent and not till end of turn, and i honestly love the way the game its right now, the speed, the dificulty to break the opponents boards its waht i love the most
I always said to my friends that yugioh games should be determined by who gets their “boss” monster out first and not by who resolves the most effects The fact that some anime based decks like buster blader, z-arc, elemental/destiny hero, hell even yubel are all good decks by todays standards, but because they are built primarily off of a gimmick or around the ace monster they end up wasting a fair amount of space on engine (which I believe all decks should be doing) supreme king gate magician set 3 with 2 scales SHOULD be a good enough endboard knowing that trap cards like *soul of the supreme king* and *soul of the supreme celestial king* exist
well, most of deck resolves that many effects to get out their boss, like kashtira, purrerly, and the one that does this the most its cyberse decks, like ignister or mathmech, or mathmech ignister, i use those 3 decks and the last one has a long ahh combo but we end up primarly with our 3 boss monsters, and before you say that doesnt count cause its mroe than one, some of them only revolve in a 6 mats arrival cyberse
@@rachvx I’m not really talking about resolution to special summon and search which are used to facilitate a combo, i mainly mean whether or not a player resolves cards like *max c*, *ash blossom*, and in some cases *nibiru* or if their endboard contains cards like appo, little knight, baronne, IP, or Promethean in gy My argument isn’t the fact that the number of resolutions but instead is the fact that the game grown into a format where staples and generic cards are what matters most and how the board is functionally the same between almost all meta decks. Hell even swordsoul is capable of housing a pretty toxic endboard with protos floodgate in only 7 summons(8 if they add a kashtira card) Id much rather play against a branded player who has the potential to gimmick puppet lock me turn one if I’m not paying enough attention (assuming I have the out). Dealing with a non target banish, my field getting nuked if I don’t otk, searchable back row, bystiel banishes. Is much more reasonable and is somewhat easier(and fun) to play around then prayers that *crossout* and *called by* isn’t in the opponents opening hand then having to play through negate city if God decides not to answer my prayers.
@@pinky90454 well i kinda understand your point, but honestly the fact that everyone uses the same decks gives yo ua chance do some funny things like memorizing the best moment to use your handtraps or negates if you go first, and its funny cause most people just surrender cause they dont even know how to use it perfectly, and when its against me that i get my life negated, i somehow manage to continue playing ( seriously how tf did i played trough 7 interactions, tbh superheavy samurai was just broken at the momment but still its surprising lul)
Okay say the line ,Meta bad. Look this entire argument just half bake in general, you don't have to build any meta deck to reach master in MD, even run sub optimal list is still fine, unless you really really want to play on highest level, like in person event and toping (noted toping ) then that the right time to get the big gun like full power snake eyes fiendsmith. MD is just the most casual competitive pool, and it will never change unless konami try to take MD seriously.
I wish they would fix the match making in casual or make it easier to duel against anything other than tier 1 or tier 0 decks... include more classic or optional casual gamemodes or even a separate game for the noncompetitive players who just wanna craft fun classic or gimmick decks... masterduel is great with the triggers and stuff for players to get used to new card effects and effect timings, and its been really helpful to get back into the game, but it really is just too mentally taxing to have to deal with sweaty, toxic players and their even sweatier, more toxic decks. Because of this also, the game and the player base lack creativity, in ranked, i come up against the same deck 9/10 times, and the 10th is another toxic deck and both have just been copy pasted from yugiohpro or ripped from a youtube video its really not fun, and i get it "dont play ranked if you dont want to go up against meta decks" which is a fair point, or it would be if the casual option wasnt like 10 times worse, atleast in ranked i get matched up with players at my skill level and i dont spend the match watching someone play solitare on BOTH of our turns... like just play solos if you dont want the other people to play, its a two player game
I swear, everyone of these videos pop up once in a while and it really just ends up sounding like just random complaints spouted with no real substance to them other than "I don't like change" or "new yugioh bad, old yugioh good." Just play what you like. Don't give a shit about what other people say or think. Find enjoyment in the game wherever you find it in. You don't need to add 10 different time stamps to a 4 minute video to prove some point.
I’m quite a big fan of the Yu-Gi-Oh anime overall. Mainly the original series and GX. Anything else afterwards I never really cared for. With the exception of Zexal. That wasn’t too bad but the earlier shows were a lot better.
I think the alternate endings idea is a great one. It would take a lot of effort to really pull this off but it makes sense in terms of allowing the player to experience the ending they believe it should have. It's clear there is a ridiculous level of conflict in terms of how they "should" end the game, so it would give the writers an out to make the majority of people happy in the end.
Cloud did say that when he was holding Aerith, he just didn't say it out loud. Plus, when Cloud was taking pictures of Aerith, one was a secret picture , when she noticed she laughed , she smiled and got angry.
Elden Ring is one of those games, that I would have no problem paying 100$ for the base game and 100$ for the DLC. That game is so massive, with so many secrets and stories to uncover, ways to play it.. It's absolutely bonkers.

elden ring player here, i have 4-500 hours across 3 characters which i have accumulated over the last 2 years since elden ring came out and only 1 of those characters have done the dlc
I fully understand what you mean. But sometimes people preorder games, believing it will be just as good as some of the older games that the company has made before. For example, Pokemon. Most Pokemon are pretty good with no graphical issues. But with Scarlet and Violet a lot people preordered it, thinking that it will be a good Pokemon game with no bugs, because previous Pokemon games released up to that point had no major bugs. But unfortunately that wasn't that case when it fully launched. We had alot of bugs, and glitches. But I do understand what you're saying, however we can't fully predict if a game will be good or bad until it's fully released or someone who unfortunately paid a lot of money on it plays it for us on YT. Thats unfortunately the gamble sometimes when playing games. But that's just my opinion anyways!

even when you include inflation, with more digital over the case/disk purchases compared to the previous decades, the cost to provide for those decrease yet the price for the digital still increases. Milking money for most mediocrities.
I know that overall like bc inflation money becomes like less valuable so a price increase makes sense, but at the same time, considering a very large portion of the consumer base is children and teenagers who don’t have a lot of disposable income, so it feels like they’re actively dissuading their user base

All the AAA will go to $70 for the base games... Meanwhile what percentage of games is actually worth even only $60 to one in 100 random gamers? What trend does the percentage follow if you look over the past two decades of releases? I think you'll find that the percentage is dropping as it's more frameworks for DLC and or hollowed out shells to be sold in microtransactions. The justification for a $60 price tag used to be quality and actual production costs (cartridge, box, booklet, store shelf space, etc.). But the market has grown so much since 'horse armor dlc' that prices should have dropped, cheaper engines, pure digital releases (some on their own storefronts (origin, uplay...) which should be even cheaper) yet the price remained $60 because that what the market would bear. Then $60 wasn't $60 no more as they came with multiple editions of games at higher prices, with day 1 DLC's. The one thing not even mentioned is that this is very USA centric thinking as $60 fluctuated a lot against other currencies in what it would cost across the pond in other affluent nations like GB, France and Germany, meaning that they were already paying $80-90 with VAT included. (looking since the euro currency was introduced)
Your comments about the multiverse make me think you didn't understand the events of rebirth. Zach's entire story happened in multiple branching alternate timelines/worlds. Sephiroth confirmed it at the end of the game, and he claims he istrying to merge them, that is the real reunion in the remake narrative. Cloud was in the 'nexus' with Sephiroth, and then he and Aerith see the crack in the sky from the dying timelines but others can't. Cloud can access multiple world lines simultaneously, which is why he can see and interact with Aerith in the world where she survived.
I played Fire Emblem Heroes for almost 5 years, until I dropped it, never once I spend money and still got almost 300 characters, way more than what I ever wanted. Now I'm playing Pokemon Masters EX and while there are characters I want it, I'll not spend money to it, cause while I might not have that many characters, I have more than enough to Level 100+ every single one, because the game flooded me with Skip Tickets and Manuals that boost level up. Once I complete the story arcs and get bored with events I'll drop it as well.
Theres a game called Epic 7 that I used to play and spent 1,000s of dollars on cuz I needed this character to beat this one part of the game or I need this character cuz it'll help out my team. Another thing was anime crossover or seasonal exclusives that might appear next year or not. I think the total I spent on the game was around 2,500 to 3,000 dollars over the course of 5 years (with a year and half break in between) Im bringing this up because now that im away from the game and found other gacha games that i actually enjoy playing and not feeling like a second job, i regret spending that money. I look back on it as a lesson and now spend money waaay more responsibly make sure I don't go overboard. That being said, Firefly is gonna catch me slipping if I ain't careful. Sorry if it has grammer problems.
tbh an easy solution i use if i _really_ want a character is to make a new account maybe 3 or 4 max and then ill have different accounts focused on different things i like. sometimes one is like an account that follows whats meta and another that is characters i like.
I get the fact that there are a lot of ppl who don’t want Aerith to come back, but as a big fan of Cloud i want to see him finally happy. He’s the protagonist of the main game FF VII he deserves his happy ending. This re trilogy is focused on defying fate, instead of dealing with loss. Fans were waiting for years to bring her back.

It’s pretty obvious where this is going … devs said that they want to give a happy ending to the characters this time, because this is not FF VII og with better graphics, this is a sequel post AC/ DoC /CC /EC trilogy
If Ash in Gen 4 can take out his darkrai and draw with his latious, then he not beatin Cynthia who is leauge above anyone at that point. Tobias is really strong, but Cynthia is the world 2nd strongest trainer at that point (3rd now), and alain, who has taken one full power legend, is weaker than her so Cynthia won with a little bit of trouble.
