That initial layout grab he catches it trailing edge. I think that's because catching it on the left side of the disc would've made it spin off his hand. But trailing edge makes it slow down and spin back towards him.
Beautiful! And this is one with girls playing, very cool: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dybMVHzMxQs.html ! Or may be this one (mixed): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-j9X1Oph0GSo.html
Well, I really appreciated the thought of drawing our attention to the fact that the subject was throwing rather than receiving in these instances. Knowing where the subject is on the field in short clips is a perennial problem in these compilations. The highlight bubble has been used well along these lines in some of these vids. At the same time, I was repulsed by the locution, "shooter." I don't like "bomb" either for the same reason. I hope we stop the militarization of ultimate lingo in these directions. "Thrower" would do fine. Or, "assist." Or, "hucker." Or, draw attention to the different throws. It could have said, "flick," "scoober," etc.
Jeffrey Boris I didn't really think anything was wrong with using shooter as a term. I liked that they let me know he was throwing. someone else didn't like the term. Also - bomb is a football term (throwing a long pass down field) again, I don't think anyone watching football thinks of literal military armaments when they hear the term. I was just co-opting the (American) football jargon for a long downfield pass by the shooter.
