Black people have been using this for decades. One tablespoon for colds or constipation. We’ve used it in our hair for growth and to keep the scalp moisturized.
I’m so sorry to hear about your pain. I’ve been using the Castor oil packs with a hot water bottle at least three or four times a week now for the last several months and I’ve definitely noticed a difference in my scar. In terms of pain something I thought was helpful for me was finding a massage therapist that specialized in breaking down scar tissue. I’ve gone for several abdominal massages and I also found a local Natropath who does neural therapy. Apparently neural therapy is really popular in Europe for scar tissue but less so here in North America. Sending lots of love your way on your healing journey ❤
Love watching your videos and hearing about your process. We are going into 1st and I’m piecing it together with as much Waldorf inspiration as I can muster. Thank you for sharing! Looking forward to more content.
My friends did a blessing for me with my second pregnancy, and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had! They did a foot bath with a foot, hand and scalp massage. One made me a flower crown, and did singing bowls and sang a song. And also brought lots of yummy, healthy snacks for me. It was so beautiful and I felt so loved. So much more powerful than a baby shower.
Hahaha Odin in the background with his red blanket. Samson's smile talking about this!! He's so excited. What an awesome opportunity!! I want to go to forest school!! Also, 235 views in 5 days?! Look at you go maple mama!
So far, I loooove that artistic element in the Waldorf Approach and keeping childhood enchanting. I grew up in Europe and academics didn't begin until the age of 7-8 and I want that so badly for my children. I did end up teaching my oldest to read as here in North America there seems to be a race to teach your child to read by the age of 4-5. Since switching over to the Waldorf approach, my children have become very interested in homeschooling. Circle time felt a bit awkward at first, but now they look forward to it. Making the switch to more nature based toys like wooden blocks and silks have also been a welcome change to our homeschool :) Consistently reading to the kids as been a struggle though
I understand when you mention that you don't like reading/or find time to read to your children. I have one child that loves being read to and another one whose not really into it.
I have the same! My eldest loves it and youngest not so much. I recently found the Herb Fairies book series and I’ve actually liked reading it to my boys. Probably because I enjoy the content myself 😂
I think you're doing great! Steiner said The Child is the Curriculum. Bring the arts to them! You can make any curriculum Waldorf by incorporating the arts as you did with the math puppets they made! Thank you for sharing the Spotify channel! I went right to it and have a story cued for tomorrow! 😊
Oak Meadow has changed a lot over the years. They used to be more closely following Steiner but have moved toward fulfilling state standards with a hint of Waldorf, from what I've read .
Just herbs but it has a super cute story line and does an excellent job of Introducing the technical name of the herb, country of origin, common uses. It tells kids what a poultice vs tincture is etc😊❤
Main service panels are not ‘properly protected’ from EMF’s by the metal cover. Because of the separation of the two phases at the main lugs, they produce an EMF field which extends into the ether for many feet in all directions. A simple gaussmeter like a trifield meter will prove this. Dirty Electricity is a different category than EMF’s, though many mistakingly group them together. They are all part of the Electromagnetic spectrum, though. One more thing, all the point of use outlet capacitors, like your Greenwaves, exchange DE dropping for some EMF’s produced, and that gaussmeter will prove that too, so try to keep your distance or replace with a main CB panel filter for whole house. Glad you’re addressing these important issues, though. Kudos.
I’m really interested in this. My c-section scar is 20 months PP. I don’t mind touching my scar on a physical level - but when I do wow the emotions that come up 🥹. I also have major pain around ovulation and the OBGYN says it’s just scar tissue disrupting the process a bit. Anyway, I was curious if 1) you noticed a difference since you started doing this in terms of the scar tissue and surrounding areas? And 2) if it stimulates a detox effect like migraines or runny tummy? Little nervous of creating an intense detox as my liver is making a bit of a comeback 😉
I feel you in terms of the emotions associated with the scar tissue! <3 I have felt castor oil to be very gentle and I didn't have migraines or loose bowels. I believe it has helped my scar tissue butttt I have also done some Neural Therapy - I made another video talking about that. It was very powerful! I also have a massage therapist who specializes in abdominal massage and she has worked on my scar but that was once I was one year post partum. Sending you lots of healing love on your journey xx
