This is so crazy! This reminds me of Necromancer but instead of Marco Benevento it's Carson McWhirter, another collaborator of Zach Hill. And Zach and Carson and John Clardy are all NorCal/Sac folks. And Nick Reinhart also played with Zach Hill, and of course Clardy. This is what I love about music, the culture interacting and all these great artists' lives intersecting leaving a trail of amazing music.
RU-vid can ruin the continuity of an outstanding concert hustling these useless advertisements. The Sun Ra Arkestra as usual is in fine form, is the last of the big bands? Marshall Allen is playing on instrument that has the ability to sound like a keyboard synthesizer. Allen might be the last surviving member of the orginal Arkestra. Sun Ra, based in Philadelphia, found some of the greatest musicians from that city and along the Eastern music corridor; Boston into the Carolinas. In 2022, Allen was well into his ninth decade, and still playing with fire and passion. Enjoy this historic band.

Great voice but all this track does is strengthen my opinion that he Didn't sing the most mysterious song on the internet. Why would a Greek be singing about an East German?
Their technique and speed is out of our era.They came from a distant future to play in 2000's decade, they really looks like two time travellers is, hallucinant . Now in 2024 still nobody play like this . I've been a musician and sound engenieer long time ,I heard ,work and respect a lot of musicians and genres during my career , and honestly ,I think hella is the most important and impressive band musicians since Nirvana dissapear . I really love that people don't notice that, not being mainstream make Hella a hidden gem, that only a few ones can easily recognize and enjoy.
