Well hello! I am Miss Karen and if you see me you probably see my little Love-Bomb Lucy too. I Love Middle Eastern Perfumes and would Love to help you on your quest for picking some out for your own collection.
@avic2697 So interesting thing. This Perfume smells like the bottle looks. I have always wondered the process for Lattafa making their bottles because I have seen this a few times with them.
Ooh it's good to know about the residue on the cap! I wonder if this is a profile that will be duped by the other middle eastern houses and we'd be better off waiting, because they might not have that problem. Love to see Lucy so active, from the videos sometimes we'd think she always sleeps!
@@Wozlynn If any other Middle Eastern house does a banana perfume I will be sure to snag it up and let you know the deal. Glad you enjoyed seeing Lucy on her little rampage. LOL she was knocked out on the floor by the time I was finishing up the video. She does sleep more than any cat I know. LOL
@sharfalor4244 I do have Al Jawhara. It is a more unisex, mysterious fragrance, while Voux Patisserie is leaning feminine and light-hearted. Two very different scents. Both great for fall weather. Hope that helps
Bubble gum is such a fun smell! This sounds so pretty. The pistachio one caught my eye too but unsure if it is as wearable as this one! I may have to get this scent to try :)
Hi Karen and Lucy. I have Qissa Delicious in a growing 'maceration box' (with Montagne Coco, Khadlaj Empire Victor, Infini Musk, Eternal Musk) Sadly it doesn't smell like much at present but really really looking forward to this one.
@sueseverin1871 So weird how different batches can be. My Empire Victor has been in the maceration box too! I think it may be ready to come out soon though. So I had gotten Eternal Coffee when it was new and loved it so much I got another bottle. It was a different batch and did NOT smell like the first bottle. I was so disappointed. The maceration did the trick though. After some time I couldn't tell the bottles apart.
@@MissKaren3 Oh I'm glad your Eternal Coffee came out right in the end. Yes, I'm forever looking at reviews of fragrances and wondering how they could get such results 'straight out of the box'. Sadly sometimes the performances are worse than the online reviews. Cannot wait for my current batch to be usable.
I love your reviews, Ms. Karen! They are spot on as far as interpreting the notes, the style, when/where to wear, etc. I plan to purchase this next spring/summer. Thank you.
I have always used Aromatix code for Aroma Concepts but he doesn't need my help. I'll make sure I use yours next time 😊 Shame I just bought Confection a few days ago. Ah well!
Super hard question! Very different scents .Both very well done and quality products. Remas is better suited for hot weather while Zikra is more suitable for a cooler climate. If I were going to gift one of the two I would probably choose Remas because I see it as an easier wear. When I look at the artistry of the perfume I would personally choose Zikra because it is more complicated which is something I gravitate to. So, Zikra for the win from me for that reason. Can't go wrong with either one though
Amber is a really nice note! I always associate that with a special occasion perfume. It makes total sense what you're saying about scents smelling differently depending on the climate too. I feel like vanilla scents always smell extra nice where i live.
Hey miss Karen and Lucy!🙋🏻♀️🥰🥰🥰🥰 I completely agree that different climates can make a perfume smell definitely for people. So what might be a mild everyday perfume for someone could be a super heavy special occasion perfume for others just depending on where you live🤓😋
Thanks for stopping by Jamie!!! Yes! I have used essential oils as perfumes in 40 below weather. Rose essential oil behind the ears was a great trick for super cold weather.
disliked this scent ...scrubber! reminds me of the same base as musamam white intense. Nothing special, dont see the hype at all. Smells like a burnt hair comb.
@rea2725 lol. I think maybe we don't have the same taste in perfume. I remember you saying Bayn Al Asrar smelled bad to you and you were going to return it. That's 2 for 2. Thing that I Love that you dislike. I would suggest not getting anything else I recommend. Best of luck on your perfume Journey
Always lovely to see your kind face! And eagerly awaiting the day RU-vid invents Smell-o-Vision because I'd love a sniff of Her Confession or Blanche Bete. Glad you love the bottle!
If u own musamam white intense and let that drydown after an hour , thats basically how confession for her smells . I disliked it and felt it was boring as well. Its nothing gourmand, milky or creamy . Its burnt skin with burnt coconut hair oil , couldnt wait to wash it off.
Hey miss karen!🙋🏻♀️🥰🥰🥰 I hope Lucy is doing ok after her allergy shot🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 that Lattafa bottle looks so cool🤓 iv heard this is a dupe for Blanche bete which iv never smelt before but i know people are very divided about🤣🤣🤣
@Mamabearperfumechannel Thanks for asking about Lucy! The shot is finally kicking in and she's getting some relief from itchy paws🐾 It is a really nice bottle. Amazing that the bottle bottom is the same as the eclair bottle, but changing that top made such a huge difference in the whole look of it. Thanks again for the mention on your channel! That was such a nice surprise and really meant a lot to me and Lucy 💖
@@zoeyrandazzo4600 I just went and put a bunch of random things in my cart to see what would happen and some of them did say wouldn't ship to my area. I'm here in North carolina and have never had a problem with shipping. I'm thinking they are out of stock when it says that but somehow their system just hasn't caught up. Some of the items in my car when I had put them in there a few days ago said products are limited. Now they say they just won't ship. Hope that made sense and hope it helps. Think they are just out of stock
The post April 2024 formulation is beautiful and wildly different from the April and pre April 2024 formulation which has a prominent oud. Enquire before you purchase.
UPDATE: life after maceration has been good. Ibisco Nirvana layered with Ajayeb Dubai is a gorgeous 🥭 🌺 combo. ***************** This was the most epic blind buy fail of 2024. The bottle is beautiful but sadly the juice smells like bug spray. On first impression, none of the notes are distinguishable.
@@animforjindam Oh no! Best I can tell you is to spray out the straw and let it sit for a while. If it doesn't work after that then it's just not for you
@@MissKaren3 thank you so much I was in Chicago last week now I’m in Jordan they are some Arabic perfumes I wish I can send it to you so you can try them and tell me what you think about them. Thank you so much. You have Facebook account? 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Nebras has has a herbal note that ruins it for me. I have had mine for two years and it's still just sitting bc every time I try it I can't get past that. I probably will give it away
You probably wouldn't like the Ophidian Sweet Surrender then. It has the same notes just a much better composition. Have you tried Quissa Delicious or even Vouix Pattiserie from Paris Corner? If you are looking for a nice gourmand you may like one of those
Hi all!! I just ordered a sample of the Hibiscus Mahajad and will pop back on here and let you guys know if it is similar UPDATE!!!!!!!!! GOT THE SAMPLE AND 90% DUPE!!!!
@animforjindam I've never smelled hibiscus mahajad so I couldn't tell you on that point. It does not smell like Delena exclusive at all. The leather note is not prominent. If you didn't know it was there you probably wouldn't pick it up and even knowing it's there you might not pick it up. Hope that helps
@@melyndalopez272thanks for the feedback. I'm not the biggest Delina exclusive fan, I much prefer the OG. However im glad the leather note is faint and I'm just happy we finally get a hibiscus 🌺 inspired fragrance that actually has hibiscus in the notes (side eying hibiscus magic and le prestige royal lol)
@@eduore10 I wouldn't recommend this for a man. I think a gourmand that would smell really good on a man is Lattafa Nebras or Paris Corner Ophidian Sweet Surrender
Expecting this to arrive sometime next week. Strange, I've done a search on reviews for this fragrance for the past 3 or 4 days now and I'm just now getting your video in my results after constant searching.
@Detman101 I think you will really like this one. Would love to hear your thoughts after you get it. I have heard from quite a few people that they don't find me right away or either they're surprised when they do find me cuz I never showed up in their searches. I am thinking RU-vid doesn't like me so much. Just give a follow if you haven't already and hopefully I will show up in the future
Hi Miss Karen and woof to Lucy. There isn't supposed to be a minty note in Nebras - but it's there. It's one of those things that I hear disappears with time - yes it's very weird I know. My bottle is about two months old and the mint (and this other weird smell) is still there but really faint now. I hear you want to give it around six months to really get what it's about 🙂
I’m glad I’m not the only one who walks around in public sniffing their own arm🤣🤣🤣 I do that all the time just because I’m testing out new perfumes, but I’m sure the majority of people watching me from the sidewalks probably think I’m crazy🤣🤣🤣
@Mamabearperfumechannel Glad I'm not the only one! I just need to remember that people can not only see me but they can hear me too. 🤣😆🤪 This perfume had me goin tho.
I enjoy all your videos, thank you. You have quite the collection by now. Do you mind doing a rating video for all. ( blind buy worthy/ most feminine/office safe/beast mode… etc.)
@@rowenabrykin580 Thanks so much for wanting to see a video like that from me. It seems I always have lots of things I haven't told you about, so I just keep doing single reviews as to have a catalog. I will work on doing a video like that. In the meantime if you have any specific questions or are looking in a certain direction for something feel free to ask. Also, I love to hear what some of your favorites are
@@MissKaren3 I don't have have any favorites, just like to wear what smells good and get some compliments.. I've been hitting Burlington and Ross for good ones. My recent ones are for the Autumn are, Banana republic dark Cherry and tonka bean and at Ross, Tahari Leather Oud..
@romanordunez3095 I have been hearing about Burlington and Ross having some really good stuff. I really need to check them out. So a couple couple of Lattafa I can recommend for fall are Oudain and Ameer Al Oud Intense. Both around $20 on Amazon. Both really good.Ameer Al Oud Is a beast though. It will stay on your clothes till next wash and is more a winter scent.
