A gorgeous firearm to be sure, but the real impact of your video for me is seeing, I assume, your father holding and displaying your prize as you talk about it. I'm 56 and my father passed a couple of years ago at 81. He was my lifelong hunting buddy, my mentor and frequently, my benefactor. We had a cabin in West Virginia, nestled in the foothills of the Shenandoah. We hunted across tens of thousands of acres of public land in Pendleton County from the early 80's until dads health retired his hunting boots in 2017. I pray that you and your father have the same opportunities afield that I enjoyed with mine. A great deal of life occurred within those years and Dad and I didn't always agree, but early on we had adopted a central rule for "The Hunt". Be respectful, speak the truth and let Love, not ego, have the last word.
Just an absolutely beautiful herliom piece. Wood is so gorgeous, it would give me pause before taking it out on a hunt. I have those rings on a rifle BUT I think that rifle deserves a more elegant set of rings and bases. Just my 2 cents.
