I was a bored teenager who discovered how a hammer and nail work. My goal is to build cool things and show you how I made them. I also want to help people fix things and build a helpful community based channel.
I would like to have heard you explain things instead of that obnoxious sound. I muted it but then thought that at some point you might say something important. Had to stop watching.
Unfortunately I made this video when I was younger and didn't have as much editing experience. Hopefully you can take something from the video by just visuals, many many people were helped out regardless of the music.
@@BlakesBuilds I just ordered an electric mower from Amazon. Small engines have become so rickety, I have given up. They aren't worth paying to have them repaired or taking a couple of days to get all the right tools, finding the right videos and then monkeying with them. I've already lost a day messing around with a locked up mower that I bought this summer. 😞
@nelsonsimmons6979 Goodluck, and sorry to hear you lost the spring. Those things are hard to find if they run away, especially if you do weed whackers!
If thats a ford ranger you can open your door with your antenna ..on driver side just lift your door handle up and you will see a hole you can run your antenna through then you just push antenna to right and the little ball on end of antenna will catch in it will open door ..or you can just Google it
I don't quite remember If I took it off the old engine (old engines use to be 3/4", I think they're 5/8" now) or if I bought one for it. If you need that spacer any hardware store, tractor supply, home depot should have it-or Amazon. Just make sure it's the same diameter and width
You could also get a small chest freezer, keeping chunks of dry ice in it. You can put the stud on the block for a minute or so and the metal will have contracted so much that you could easily slip it all the way in and let it warm up to pressure fit lol
@@paulbarrow2497 If it was even remotely the case. Why would they put the little knurled end on it instead of just letting it terminate in more thread with locktite? 😅 a friction fit will always be less secure than proper threading with metal stress tolerances taken into account.
@TemptationsEnd I don't know what you mean. You can see in the video, and if you'd ever touched a stud, you'd know those knurls press fit and cut an impression in the flange, holding them tight whilst you put the nut on. The nut holds it all together.
Yeah this obviously won't work for some other cars, but shows the general way to do it, plus or minus a couple things in the way. Small spaces means lot of finagle lol
Lol I should clarify: I didn't have the special stud tool at first so I was going to just use a lug nut to pull the stud in, and was using a ratchet to start the stud in the hole. Don't worry, I used an impact socket for the actual process😅
If it starts and dies whether it's from starter fluid or not, that's a carb issue almost 100% likely. Make sure you sprayed through all the ports in the carb and drained/cleaned gas tank. The gas may not be dirty, but could have water in it that's hard to see. Also, if the carb you're working on is a plastic carb, those sometimes do not clean easily and you may have to buy a new carb entirely
@laurasteiner157 the rims might not be found on Amazon but they could probably be found on gopowersports. You will probably save money getting a sprocket on Amazon, just make sure it will fit on the rims you get
why would you use metal pliers on glass bulbs bare hand that thing and rock it side to side gently while pushing in and turning counter clockwise and it will not explode but will come out neatly upgrade all glass bulbs to led with matching led turn signal relay never have to touch them again also make sure you put good dielectric grease in the outlet so it doesn't get moisture and oxidise
That's exactly what happened to the bulb on the side where this happened. The grease became like clay and solidified. I had to pry the bulb out of it, it was the most stuck bulb I've ever delt with. Funny thing is that I used a paper towel for every other one except this one, and of course this was the one that did that. Didn't have to use pliers on the other ones though, I used them to try to get extra torque on the twist, obviously it backfired lol
@@BlakesBuilds ahh, ok for future reference gently heating the fitting can make the grease softer helping release the bulb also if you replace the dielectric grease use the clear stuff and use just enuf to coat terminals, that amount solidifies you won't need tools to remove it, carb cleaner can also help soften the stuff
Not a person. It’s like black twitter. Professional welder’s algorithms could have this show up, and then the roasting will begin. Could go viral for all the wrong reasons lol.
@@YooItsVon lol stfu y’all will never be liked . It’s not all but definitely the majority. It’s ingrained in y’all’s blood. This why racism shall never end
