Hello thanks for this greate explaination.I'd like to ask you about something I hope you will tell me .the main duties in the noc look like mine . But the problem is in the employement requirements there are requirements such as Completion of a three-year internship under the supervision of a registered architect is required. Completion of the architect registration examination is required. Registration with a provincial regulatory body is required in all provinces and the Northwest Territories. So how can I do those from outside Canada And is this my noc and should I complete those after I reach canda.

Here is a query from one of my friend: He has done Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical and got the ECA for 16 years of education from WES. He is falling in NOC code 21301 (Mechanical engineers) as per his education. However, his experience is more related to NOC Code 22301 (Mechanical engineering technologists and technicians) which educational requirement is Completion of a two- or three-year college program in Mechanical engineering technology. This is because all knows that in Pakistan, true engineering jobs are rarely available. Please clarify if he can apply under NOC Code 22301 with 16 years of education (Undergraduate degree)?
Hello Harpinder…. Try finding your NOC using terms like, project manager, client support, client service, project management or some other terms which are specific to your profile. If still you are not able to find your NOC, resort on one which closest match your profile. Additionally, you can talk to your employer and ask if they can tweak some roles & responsibilities in your reference letter so it can match more to the NOC you are selecting. Thank you 😊

Your roles and responsibilities should match around 80% with the NOC you are selecting. If you are not able to find any NOC which match you profile, try contacting your manager and see if you can make some changes in your reference letter so that you roles and responsibilities should match with the NOC.

However, within "Employment Requirements" there is a description: "A university degree in industrial design, architecture, engineering or a college degree in industrial design is required"... If my degree is in Digital Media Design (or something similar) and not exactly "Industrial Design", does that mean my degree is not valid (even though it's the description I found and the one that BEST FITS)? ...Thank you very much.
Hello Thais.... If you Roles and Responsibilities matches with 2252 then no need to worry. Just write a letter of explanation describing that even though the name of certification is different but its same as the cirtification mentioned in the requirements.

Search with the similar job titles, and pick one which matches around 80% to your profile. If still you are not able to find it. Talks to your employer and see if your roles and responsibilities can be changed in the reference letter.

Hello Paramjeet.... Main criteria of selecting an NOC is that its should be aligned with your roles and responsibilities. It should match 80% with you job duties. I would suggest, go with the one which is aligned with your roles and responsibilities.
I am working in IT sector. My roles are related to Data engineering. 1) Gather the requirement from client. 2) Perform ETL process( Extract, Transform, Load). a) First do analysis on data with respect to client requirement . b) Connect with source to get the data c) Perform transformation on data by applying business rules in different scripting languages. c) Load the data in destination (datawarehouse) and then perform validation and testing on the data . d) write the test cases and pass the validation. c) provide i3 support for the soultion. I had completed B.E. in chemical engg from India and later worked in India for 2 years under NOC job code for civil engg. I do want to use this experience for FSW but I am confused as to which NOC code I should be putting in my file. Please help
Hello Vrinda... I am glad you liked the video. To answer your question, as your work experience is in civil engineering you must go ahead and select NOC code which matches to it. The reason behind it is, your NOC should match your job roles and responsibilities and not your education. I hope that answers your question.

I have entered all valid information in my file. However, my CRS score against Canadian education is showing as 0. Does anyone know why is it so? Can I inform CIC about this ?

Hello Neetu. You can't decide NOC on the basis of designation. You must match your roles and responsibilities with the one mentioned in the CIC website and then decide your NOC.

Is NOC 4032 Elementary and kindergarten Teacher in-demand list in any of the provinces in Canada? If the NOC which is selected is not in-demand list then should one apply for the PR process?
You need to check the In-demand list of each province to find if its there. If the selected NOC is not in the in demand list you can still apply for Express Entry. Just make sure your selected NOC should fall under 0, A or B catagory.

I will be studying architectural technician which falls under NOC 2251, question is while studying is the part time job should be fall into into NOC 2251? or it doesn't really matter which NOC job you are taking while studying on your part time job?
You can count part-time work toward the work experience requirement, as long as you were not a full-time student at the time. However, you must have gained the equivalent amount of experience as someone who worked full-time for at least one year (1560 hours)

While selecting NOC just make sure of one thing that it should fall under Skill type 0, A or B otherwise you will not be eligible for Express Entry

If they wanted to start taking pnp/cec , then why in Dec or Nov they were taking 10000 fsw candidates per draw? The covid situation wasnt very good in Dec as well
Ircc have a quota to invite new immigrants every year, so they invite accordingly. If this trend continues then eventually they start conducting FSW draws as well.
If IRCC starts conducting FSW draws than you might get ITA in first couple of draws. However, their is no harm in increasing your score. If you can get good score in TEF, then you get ITA soon.
One reason could be covid, another reason can be that canada wants to increase its population in other provinces other than Ontario. Most of the people from fsw prefer Ontario.

You will get a list of similar occupation with noc. Then you can select a noc which best fit with your profile.
