I have to disagree with your "never run ethanol gas in your motorcycle." Ethanol gas has been around since the late seventies and millions of fuel injected cars and motorcycles have been using E10 gas for decades. Some states mandate E10 only gas and that's all you can get. If you have a flex fuel vehicle, fuel injected of course, you could run E85 which is 85% ethanol! Don't waste your money buying non-ethanol gasoline. E10 will not harm your engine or injectors, or every motorcycle company would warn against using it. As far as I know, not a single one does.
At 223 229cc I'd much rather have a scrambler or super moto carbureted version. Or if you like off roading, get the dual sport along with some 17in super moto wheels. Also China now makes a Lectron knock off carb. So with an air cooled carbureted 229cc...You could port the heads & throw on a Lectron clone & get more powah.
@@DOHowen Nothing wrong with the sportbike looking one if that's what you prefer......Was just thinking, I know China measures their CC differently...Like a 47x40mm engine in USA is considered a 66cc but China measures it as 80cc....I forget that u have have to go by bore & stroke mm...To actually know which engine is bigger.
Before starting, put a very strong magnet on the oil drain plug. Then change oil to a quality non synthetic oil for break-in . After 250 or 500 miles change oil, the magnet should do it's job & catch all the break-in glitter.. So it's not recirculating thru the engine during break-in.
Yammie Noob is a hater on anything that isn't Yamaha. So much so that I've stopped watching anything he puts out. last one was Top 5 Chinese bikes and 3 were Benelli's. And to put it in perspective, I hate Yamaha's and can find just as much fault on Yamaha as he does on Honda/Kawasaki.
It's clear the Chinese company gave you this bike or compensated you to say good things about an absolutely POS. My buddy had this thing for a couple of weeks before getting rid of it, the junk is borderline dangerous, as Yammie's thorough review stated. Also, stop trying to tie this dangerous junk to a Kawasaki. You actually called this thing a "good bike." 🤦♂️🙄 Shameful and dishonest.
Been trying to get into riding but didn’t wana commit to a fast ass motorcycle and i just found out about this 250cc so im stoked to buy it and learn how to ride
Dude, the poser stickers will be exposed. I know from experience. Stripped decals, removed some plastic, and gave it that post-apocalyptic, mad max look, and it impressed and fooled a lot of people. Until a real deal motorcycle guy. And the comedy roast will begin 😮
I hear so many mixed reviews. its either don't go near it or its great (for what it is). Im not expecting too too much but how quickly do would you get bored and wanna graduate?
I think is depends on how much you will use it. I ride every other weekend, so after 2 yeas, its still good. But if you ride a lot and want more speed, then you might grow out of it in 3 months.
I had this bike unfortunately, and I can safely say it is not worth the money. Save up roughly an extra thousand and get a ninja 400/500. The upgrade is night and day. Don't do yourself a disservice. (Ninja 400 as of now has a $500 off deal)
Explain? I have had over the years a CBR 600 and an R6, plus many dirt bikes. I am now at a point where I only ride when I have time on weekends and this bike has been good for just that.
Should’ve gotten the rc390 they’re not 8 grand , with all fees and financing it came out to 6300 ! Perfect bike to learn and track , way better experience guaranteed man
Are you going to mod it at all? I saw a bunch of videos about these and modifications, i would love to subscribe and see any modifications tbh. Very nice bike, thinking of getting one myself.
