He had the dominance of those players at age-grade level who would destroy teams with pace and a mean fend, but he did it at the highest level. True legend
I remember in his book he explains he was a real dummy at school but on the field he could see everything. He knew what to do and when to do it and had a sound understanding of the game. He also understood all his abilities and had all the confidence and was never scared or nervous. Early on in his career too
He reminds me of christian Cullen the way he glides away when he sprints like he ain't even at top speed and such a slippery player but let's not forget his trademark was his timing of his fending skills
Really like Tommy as a player. Hes not the classiest, although he had his moments. Very reliable, shame about the injuries, could have had another season easily. Best of luck to him.
