I found one of these in my country hella cheap, i didnt even planned to bought one, but i feel like i shouldnt let this opportunity pass. Brand new for about 260USD , creo que debí haber escrito en español xD. Estos timbales comparables con alguna gama de Meinl or LP, what would be its competition in terms of quality, not price?
Good price for them I think. That’s cheaper than I’ve ever seen them. No puedo comparar lo con las otras marcas. Son distintos pero, más o menos, tienen un sonido cálido, pero corta en tarima so son buenísimos.
I've always have admired Moperc percussions. The way they manufacture the instruments it done with perfection. Wished I could I afford them. I'm glad you've joined the Moperc family. I will follow you. :)
Thank you! Yes at certain times they offer discounts for a period of time so be on the lookout to see if there are any sales. Great drums and great quality!
I like JCR (Medium-Low) and Mostly like LP Low Tone- ES-9. I have Colombian bells medium and high pitch that I use often. I also have a Toca Bell Medium pitch. Now just bought the LP ES-15 which I did not like so much. So I'm going to sell it. I'm interested in a low-low pitch if its even possible. But I can do with low pitch ES-9. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and well play.
This is honestly a great video. I just have a little question. Could you maybe look into the conga pattern for los angeles azules? I know they sound different, and im interested in learning the congas now🔥🔥🔥
Good question, I believe Remo offers some 9” heads that are for bongos. Not sure if they will work for your Junior congas. I don’t know of any others though
The conguero is on point. The band is tight. My only issue is bringing out the Mopercs. Those should remain in the house at ALL times. My LP Matadors would be my go to for all gigs and rehearsals. I hope to see more content regularly. Good stuff. 👌
Thanks Edgar! So for me as a professional working musician, I want my Mopercs to be played! Plus, they aren’t super heavy and they’re loud! Perfect combo! I know what you mean though. I’ve seen lots of people say that too, “Mopercs are meant to be decoration”. I’m one person trying to change that mindset. These are amazing instruments and I want to share them as much as I can on stage. Don’t get me wrong, I still have my LP Fiberglass Matadors too!
I dont see why anyone would pay more than double than they would for LP or Pearl congas. If Michael Jordan wore Chuck Taylors he would still be Michael Jordan. Sorry !!!
@@RomanPercussionThat's a great point. They are not mass produced and will probably increase in value. If I could purchase custom congas they would be my 2nd choice. Regardless, congratulations and please continue dropping excellent content.
When you buy mass produced drums “new” you lose value immediately. You take a loss if you bought them at retail. But Moperc drums, that doesn’t happen but if it does, it’s a small margin that you lose. When you’re investing that kind of money into your instruments, at least as a working musician, that part matters too. Appreciate the conversation! Thanks for the support! 🙏🏻
@@RomanPercussion... Much respect for the response. I cannot disagree with you. All serious musicians should prioritize getting the very best instruments as they achieve higher levels. You have certainly earned them. I only ask that you continue putting out content regularly. Excellent channel!!! 👌
Great to Know that You are a MOPERC Conguero!! But I can't listen to your conga drums when you start to play them! Maybe the audio was not recorded, check it please!!
