To be honest I think it’s the quality of the video. It was sent through messenger then RU-vids only uploaded it to 720p. The water was very clean it just looks awful on here 😂😂
@@5n41th 1. Blue-Green Algae occurs naturally in fresh water lakes, and that water looks very green. It can pose a risk to human health, & be lethal for dogs, hence why the Environment Agency advises not to swim if its presence is suspected, and to report it via the special app. 2. Some of the lakes allow motorised boats which presumably can leak oil or fuel. 3. One of the major sources of pollution to rivers and lakes is excess phosphorus. The amount of phosphorus in water is a good indicator of pollution. Lake Windermere for instance, has two separate basins - north and south - with different characteristics influenced by the underlying geology. Around 52 % of the phosphorus in Windemere’s north basin comes from sewage and approximately 48 % from runoff from both built up and rural areas. The sewage is from storm overflows, United Utilities and private sewage treatment works, and septic tanks. In the south basin, around 59 % of the phosphorus in Windemere is from sewage and about 41 % from runoff.

Aww man 😩that’s such a shame. It didn’t look this good with your eyes the night exposure really popped the colours that’s why I’ve shown it was from a iPhone camera. My mate said to set it to 10s instead or 3s. Gutted I didn’t try it now 😩
I had no idea. I was lying in bed about 11pm and it’s all I seen on my Facebook so I ran to the garden 😂 this was from my house so there’ll have been a lot of light pollution spoiling it wish I went somewhere more dark. Hopefully you get a good view of it tonight
