Thank you Dr. Boon , very interesting video. I was born in KL, and studied medicine at Westminster Hospital, now working part time in Bahamas, but attended lots of meetings at RSM in London and Hammersmith . Enjoyed your video on long covid and about dysautonomia. I saw lots of covid and a few “ long covid” Dr Richard Van Tooren
It would be nice for someone to explain why chemo/radiation takes your hunger away totally. And why it doesn't come back.I haven't eaten or drank anything for over a year.
There are salt tablets available...in 100mg. If you have a pill cutter, you can cut the pill in quarters and drop in a liter bottle of beverage...it will slowly dissolve. You could just add the tsp to the liter beverage too. Sometimes the tablets can be expensive.
Do you have a distant relative by the name of TAN ENG a.k.a. as "KIMSOY" (now deceased) who came from mainland China and has lived in Roxas City, Capiz, Philippines in 1950's to 1960's? - WILLIAM B. TAN
What about if you have long covid and you have high blood pressure, palpitations, acid reflux and diarrhea, all at the same time. Can you still use salt, compression socks and cold shower?
Long covid has caused my blood pressure to be unstable. My readings can be low, high, or normal. The same problems I'm experiencing with my heart rate. Both were normal prior to covid.
It's a very good treatment but make sure your blood pressure is ok before going on this treatment and check it regularly because salt and cold water raises your blood pressure.

Hi, I watched this video last night and today went in the sea for two short swims. The cold shock has definitely done something for the feeling of blood pooling down into my feet and calves I've been having since Covid. Going to keep this up. Thank you!
Mammography has been banned in Switzerland as the statistics supporting it is outdated. The Swiss Medical Board said that the effectiveness of mammography is still uncertain, over-diagnosis and false positive tests cause harm, and the screening programmes have an unfavourable cost-effectiveness ratio.
Thanks for the educational video. I'm not buying that deconditioning theory. I have been in the best shape of my life when covid hit me, and within about a week in, I developed severe dysautonomia.
Melissa, you’re incredibly courageous ang resilient! You ability to stay rational and focused on what needed to be done during your treatment is commendable. You're an inspiration to all of us!
You need to treat inflammation. I had terrible fatigue, brain fog, memory cognitive issues after covid. I'm Still recuperating. New doctor treated me with I meg solumedrol IV steroid. Within hours of treatment the pressure I felt on top of my head lifted. Several days later I could think clearer my short term memory lapses improving. My fatigue also is much better. I nap once or twice a week once a day. Not every day twice or three times. Why do doctors ignore treating brain inflammation. It is documented on MRI scans. They know it's there but don't treat it. I thank God I finally found a doctor who treated it. Look for doctors who will give corticosteroids to treat long term covid inflammation. This is what causes long covid!
