Hiya Scott, awesome video and they came out beautifully, I'm thinking the one you think might be petrified wood, just might be wood......it does have the right look too me. I hope you and the Misses, have a awesome blessed day. Cya! 🐱🐟 out!
If you want Obsidian you can get 250lbs free per person per year over by Glass Buttes. Glass Buttes also has many different colors. What I want to know is if I can hoist a 250lb chunk (if I can find one), am I allowed to take the whole 250lbs in one piece?
@@russellzauner only a 250 pound chunk? Try nearly 1,000 pound chunks of obsidian at Glass Butte. If you go back and look at my videos, you will see I am very familiar with Glass Buttes and I even dropped GPS coordinates to some cool spots. I have collected 30 to 40 varieties of obsidian out there, and that does not include all the other areas in Oregon that obsidian can be collected at. This stuff here at the Big Obsidian Flow is pretty low quality compared to what I prefer to work with.
Thanks for the video! Well done... I feel like I've been there now. Living vicariously through others is a wonderful thing, especially when one has a small baby that prevents one from going on rockhounding trips for a couple years!
Hiya Scott, awesome video and I guess they don't want anyone to take any it's because they think it might run out. Lol That's a lot of obsidian, it's a very cool place though. I hope you and the Misses, have a awesome blessed day. Cya! 🐱🐟 out!
Wow , has that place upgraded since I was there last. Used to shoot sage rats in the area with the locals permission. Now they’re all getting bought off by the “Guide” services. Sad. Lovely place though. Thanks for sharing.
It's really amazing how quickly people will converge on locations if they think there's something good there. We do club trips to common rockhounding localities in NorCal and have seen people absolutely tear up areas after fresh rock has been exposed. It's a shame. Anyway, that material looks pretty awesome! I would love to see what it looks like slabbed...
Hiya Scott, awesome video and beautiful jasper. Love the blue, and the cab is very beautiful you made ❤. I wouldn't tell anyone my secret secret spot. And I mean no one. I hope you and the Misses, have a awesome blessed day. Cya! 🐱🐟 out!
Sorry to hear that you are not feeling well. I hope you start feeling better soon. I don't understand why people want to destroy a good thing and ruin it for everybody else. Totally understandable why you should keep this location to yourself. You found some beautiful pieces there. Can you do a cutting video on this jasper? I would like to see more of what's inside this jasper. Great video!
Can’t blame you for wanting to protect it some people can be very destructive, disrespectful, to the environment, and the could be all dug up , and not filled back in as long as you keep the camera pointed to the ground and not showing the land scape topography don’t even say where your camping this time and it might be ok , really enjoyed the beautiful looking jasper beautiful stuff I don’t know a claim may be a good idea ,, you take car of yourself Mrs Jaws Jr. needs you !
Man, I really enjoyed this walk, I've never been to a place like that before, so many beautiful rocks. I truly appreciate and understand how you are keeping it private. I turn off my Internet connection because Google has a way of posting your pictures with locations. It's so cool you took it to the saw and worked the wrong turn jasper. OMG, that's some beautiful stuff and you did a excellent job on the polish... The colors are spectacular.. WOW... Really enjoyed every minute of this video... You've made me even more excited about getting my saw and cab machine. Thank you for sharing your adventure and workmanship with me.. it's truly appreciated.
Hiya Scott, awesome video and cool place to hunt rocks, I hope you find some beautiful stones. Cool looking common opal and who doesn't like agates, hey I call catfish when I'm fishing so, I can't see why not calling rocks lol. It works for me. I hope you and the Misses, have a awesome blessed day. Cya! 🐱🐟 out!
Sounds like the connector contacts to the Computer are not making positive contact. You might try applying Dielectric Grease to the contacts. I have not had any issues with my ECM so far. But this Jeep has an ABS computer that has failed. But I have found a work around.
Hiya Scott, awesome video and what a beautiful place to camp. So if you wanted to rockhound, there were plenty of rocks to go through, if you wanted too. I hope you and the Misses, have a awesome blessed day. Cya! 🐱🐟 out!
