New Era. New Teams. New Regime. Get it all here each week as we shuffle around the SEC Football landscape talking about the best teams in the country. This is the NEW SEC!
Why do you guys grin and smirk, sporting a smug, self-satisfied look when you mention being “hard on Alabama”? Is that supposed to be a mark of sophistication in college football analysis? To predict a significant drop off in Alabama’s performance following the departure of Nick Saban? How clever you are! NOT.
Straight A. Boston College will be a solid team all year. We sold out on making the QB beat us through air and won. This is a fairly new secondary we should look a lot better going forward.
Thanks for tuning in! BC has been very impressive all year and will compete for the ACC Championship game. Great win for Mizzou overall and love your straight A grade. That win was good, it just left us wanting a little more on the offensive side in the 2H and in pass defense. Great win to build on no doubt!
I just listened to your broadcast. Boy were you ever wrong. Now most of MSU sportswriters are saying how close of a game it was. For almost three full quarters, ASU dominated in every possible stat that was available. MSU scored with just a couple of minutes left in the third quarter after trailing 30-3. So now starting the fourth quarter ASU still had a 30-10 lead and MSU proved that they could not stop the run. ASU was starting a redshirt freshman that barely beat OUT two seasoned vets at QB on the roster. He didn't earn the job until the week before because he threw several interceptions in fall camp but showed more running abilities then the other two.. With Dillingham knowing that he wanted to protect his Freshman QB'S confidence, knew that he couldnt risk losing the game over a pick 6. He decided to continue to run the ball and run more time off the clock. This may have seemed ultra conservative but I thought it was genius. Props to the quick strike passing by MSU late in the game but ASU and their control of the offensive line of scrimmage and the defensive front dominating the MSU rushing game were the real stories of this game. The PAC 12 never gets the recognition it deserves from top to bottom and the SEC gets too much credit because of Alabama and LSU'S success and National Championships. My opinion is that from top to bottom it was not a better conference. We will see how the four schools in the Pac do in the Big 12 and the four schools do in the BIG 10. Finally, My opinion is the BIG 10 is now the best conference from top to bottom. We will eventually see but seeing Cal upset Auburn is a perfect example. Cal has been a perennial bottom feeder for decades in the Pac 12. Good luck with your new coach and team and I hope they get to a bowl game. The same for ASU which would represent both teams are on the rise with a new team and culture.
Man you guys really don't do your research. Do you realize you said other conferences don't get the same caliber of talent as the SEC, then touted your new WR transfer from Utah? Do you know what conference Utah is in? Lol. Of course no mention of the ASU transfers from Oklahoma, LSU, Texas (x2), and Arkansas lol. Also no mention of the fact that it'll be about 100 degrees, and no recognition that up until the last drive against the walk-ons ASU's defense gave up <50 yards total offense to an actual FBS team that won 9 games last year. And you think MSU is going to put up 42!? Lol good luck with that. Eastern Kentucky got you guys a little overconfident. Might want to temper those expectations.
Also, heat is a moot point… MS at 95 deg with 90% humidity is way worse than dry 110 deg. Mississippi State has been out-coached. Give your coach some credit.
Yah MSU is going to run those 2.8 plays per minute in 105 degree heat. The Bulldogs are gonna be huffin and puffin. Devils win by 2 TDs. Last week you played a FCS high school team
