I can't grasp how making puzzle solving videos on RU-vid demands a staff of NINE people. How? Why? Obviously you need Chris himself for the puzzle solving, so that's one. Then you might need a video editor if you're cranking out a lot of videos, so that's two. Maybe someone to check around for new puzzles and talk to puzzle makers for sponsorships and such, so that's three. If you're bad at economy you could need an accountant, so that's four. What are the other five people doing?
I feel like for any mid range build this case is more than enough to satisfy the average person in terms of thermals It’s gonna run a little bit hotter than a normal build - I think people freak out when the temperatures are a little bit more higher than average, but that’s genuinely an issue with every single ITX case The smaller you get, the hotter it gets the louder it gets it unavoidable .
I made the tiles, but you can get a version I made after this video on the Figma Community www.figma.com/community/file/1254470013948378915/vtt-tile-system-for-figma-rpg
Hello thank you for the video. I have 2 questions : Do you think a Rtx 3090 fe could fit in the terra ? Do you think if paired with an I5 13600k the heat will be manageable ? (I would make a slight under volt probably)
Even though most of the footage is with the side panels off, I repeated all of the tests with side panels on. The temperature difference was ~2c… which was less of a difference than I expected
I had everything I needed in the box. IIRC, it did not use a separate mount... but since I tried 3 different coolers on this build I don't remember the specifics of what came in each box.
Hello im planning to use the same mobo for my build with 2 m.2s. im concerned with the thermals for the rear m.w is it possible to fit a heatsink with that clearance?
Awsome build , and very nice movie: well shot, well explained, a pleasure to watch. Kindly consider to do a follow-up video to show us the performance. Especially the CPU within the available cooling, curious if it is stable during gaming, do we need Eco mode or undervolting to keep it in check? Looking forward to updates from you :)
I'm not sure I'm referring to the right video & whilst I'm very empathetic to his position, I was infuriated, absolutely infuriated! How many of us have to go into work day after day living on the breadline? I don't believe someone who can bugger off to Japan (booked before that video cane out) has any room to complain. That's just my 2 cents...
Just built with this exact case. Definitely limited in terms of part acquisition, but I had zero issues building in this. Not sure what the complaint are... Guy at the store even joked I'd punch my fingers a ton on it. Zero issues
Ive done a few builds, but the new Fractal cases like the FROST and Terra. Are both the most difficult to work with. It's like they purposely designed them to have the most minimal amount of clearance.
Great video for such a small channel and a subscriber earned! I am thinking of building this near exact build soon! what were the temps with the AXP120-X67?
I DM that campaign! He made these for all of us, and they are incredibly well-made. He even let us choose what kind of wood. I chose white oak for mine too. They have great bounce, a nice sound to them when you roll, and I just feel like my roles are higher! And you’re right, they do make the game just feel more exciting for some reason.
haha thanks! Share with your friends for us. Also check out part 2 if you didn't see that one. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-do-w1Bgu4Po.html
Hi, I currently own that case with the same CPU and a 7900XTX (2.5 slots) it supports a Thermalright AXP90-X53 or a bigger option Thermalright AXP120-X67 (if you have short memory you can place it looking to the memory if not then to the IO part of the motherboard). The AXP90 works pretty well and it prodives a better TDP of 150W compared to what youre using and the bigger brother has a TDP of 200W. Im currently running the bigger one that provides more dissipation and less noise.
Out of curiosity, which version of the 7900 xtx are you using that allows for you to also fit the AXP120-x67? I was previously looking at getting the ID Cooling IS-55 but I know the 120-x67 performs a little better
You have +67mm CPU cooler clearance with the Gigabyte 4070 Ti and could have used a Noctua NH-L12 Ghost S1 Edition which is an upgrade from the Thermalright.
The NH-L12 is not compatible with this motherboard due to the size of the IO shroud (at least according to Noctua's website). That said, I have recently upgraded to the AXP120-X67.
Installing it later this week. Max cooler height depends on GPU width and I initially thought I wasn't going to have the room. After installing I realize I do have the space.
i voiced my opinion when they dropped the bike x 1st deck, and then they blocked me on instagram. so i unfollowed and stopped watching. i randomly check his site to see where the card world is but he doesnt touch on it much anymore.
Good stuff! A couple I'd recommend are "Thinking with Type" by Ellen Lupton and "Design for Communication" by Elizabeth Resnick. Another one that's a bit out of left field but was huge for me in learning to communicate visually is "Understanding Comics" by Scott McCloud.
Well said. I couldn’t have said it better. I used to watch him, but no longer. His viewership has waned for good reason. It behooves him to watch this video of yours and take what you say to heart. Excellent analysis.
You nailed it, that was the only channel I actually subscribed to. & It slowly felt like he was doing it before filming for us and then "trying" for content. Glad I'm not the only person to feel this way, or notice I skip 60% of the videos until I stopped even watching them altogether . 😓
I agree. Most video seems the same. A well produced intro and then solving the puzzle. Most puzzles takes too long for views to watch. If there was a uniqueness to each video then it would make us want to watch.
