I usually use a 100s chart, but I think I like the number line better. Thanks for the idea!I am doing plant theme this year again too 🌱 I am sure your classroom is gonna look so cute. Have an amazing 3rd year!
Aww!! I have the same "home sweet classroom" sign!! Love it! Also, I really like the way you've organized your classroom library. Clever idea with the white board showing who is out of the classroom! 💖💖💖
I love a good classroom library! Looks great. I am curious if space was a consideration for not putting out all books or are all students at similar levels and interests?
I did this for a few reasons, I wanted to meet my students and figure out where they are. Another reason for this is because I felt as though I was running out of books halfway through the year last year, and I wanted a way to keep the interest up when it comes to reading. When I rotated, I had a new interest in reading and it sparked great conversations! My main piece is that I did not have the extra space!
Great room. As farcas your number line, you may want to take off the negative numbers becsuse I don't think that's a 3rd grade standard.( It's been a few years since I taught 3rd grade..) However, counting to 120 is an assessment limit in a Math standard. Just a suggestion.
Hi! I enjoyed hearing all your subbing tips! I really liked your "while you were out" form for the teacher and I'm wondering how did you make that? I've been looking/trying and can't seem to have access yet.
