Join Doug, Cathy, and Maggie Mae as we travel full-time in our 2024 Quantum 29KW motorhome on new adventures to amazing places. We'll explain how living full-time on the road works (at least for us), we'll share the latest and greatest in RV's and accessories, we'll show you where we stay and tell you what we like (and sometimes what we didn't like) about each spot, and the best part - you'll get to come along with us as we check out places we've never been before! New videos come out every Friday morning at 9am eastern time AND every Monday evening at 8pm eastern time - but be sure to ring the notification bell when you subscribe, because sometimes we add in extra videos that you won't want to miss! So join us... as we Follow the Moon!

You, sadly, really missed some of the the larger, world wide known attractions of Omaha like BOYS TOWN, JOSLYN ART MUESUM & THE HENRY DOORLY ZOO. Omaha has a lot more to offer than most realize. On your next visit maybe you can get the places you missed❤
I have lived in Omaha since the 80s and I hate it here so much. There is not much to do, especially after a few years. There is no really good or safe outdoor walking trails and museums are sorely lacking.
@@jaklg7905 Thanks for watching! Hopefully our video may inspire you to check out a few of the sites we mentioned, and also the Zoo which we weren't able to visit on our stop.
@@mariuzmadden8552 You certainly need to pay the Museum a visit - it was amazing while we were there, and probably even more so now. They are closed this week for renovations, and will be back open next week better than ever. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for watching! I'm not sure if the roads may have been recently resurfaced, but they were good when we were there (other than large speed bumps). Very nice and friendly campground.
Next time you are near Sioux Falls you should checkout Good Earth State Park southeast of town. The site itself is one of the oldest site of long-term human habitation in the United States. It was an important gathering place for seasonal ceremonies and a significant trading center for many tribal people from 1300-1700 A.D.
@@pamstrait4432 I'm sorry that Seaside didn't live up to your expectations. As you can see in the video, we had a beautiful stay there, and it's definitely on our radar to come back to again. We do appreciate you watching and happy camping in the future.
You missed our Zoo, Omaha also hosts the College World Series, this is the home of Warren Buffet and last but not least Nebraska Mart one of the world's largest furniture stores established by Rose Blumpkin.
And we appreciate how welcoming the people of the Dickinson area were during our visit. It definitely has that "home town" feel. So much to see and do there. Thanks for watching.
Glad to see the Enchanted Highway getting some recognition! I am from North Dakota and work at Eats-N-Treats during the summer in a small town called Bowman. Only about an 1 or so from Dickinson.
We felt like a couple of kids driving the Enchanted Highway, looking over the next hill to see if we could spot the next sculpture. It was SO much fun! Thanks for watching!
@@johnnyebelindabewley4536 We stayed there for a week in mid-April. At that time, the weekly rate was $175. including electricity. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for watching. San Benito was such a friendly and welcoming community with a rich and celebrated heritage. We spent a lot of time there this winter and look forward to returning there again.
We have friends who are full time RVrs. They wanted out of the heat this summer. We live in Seal Rock, OR and I knew they have Thousand Trails membership and let them know. There is one 4 miles north of us on the coast and one in Pacific City and the one in Seaside. They were able to book 7 weeks on the coast using these 3 parks and are enjoying the summer weather here. They move up to Seaside in a few days. I shared your video with them. Very informative. Thanks. Kathleen
@@georgebuscay8511 Thanks for watching - and sharing! We also stayed at TT Whalers Rest in Oregon and have a video on it also. The climate is amazing on the Oregon coast!
@FollowTheMoon We full timed RVd after we retired for a few years. We planned to keep going, but we happened to be staying in the Florence/Newport area when we saw this cute little stucco house and bought it. We love the weather year round. It's never too hot or cold, and not as much rain as I thought. Being from Northern NV, we never got much rain. We did have very hot summers and very cold winters in CarsonCity. I was never a fan of either after 45 years of it. My dad was in the Navy, and we always lived by the ocean. He was last stationed in Monterey, and we stayed because that's where my mom's side of the family lived. My husband and I moved to NV, and I thought we'd never live by the ocean again. Well, now we do across the street from it. Have a good day, week, month, and years. Kathleen
ya did it againl... was just looking this place up to maybe use it on the way to Spirit Lake Iowa from chicago area... and poof here's your video.... just booked it
Thanks for watching and subscribing - and we hope you enjoy Lindenwood Campground as much as we did! We hope some of our other travel and campground videos can help out in the future, too!
@@garykrissteiner1004 Thanks for watching - and glad we could help! There are some great spots to visit - Dickinson was a great spot to "base" out of in the western part, and Fargo was awesome to the east.
@@johnhersberger9391 Thanks for watching. We stayed for a week - weekly rate was $297., nightly is $49.50 and a 10% discount for Good Sam. Checking out the prices of some of the area parks, it was a nice park and a good deal.
Laundry facility looks very nice! Interesting tent privacy fences! I have never seen this anywhere else. Very spacious sites. How much a night? - Michelle

@@jessyhavron2548 we must have hit an off time or odd day, but it wasn't bad when we were there. There was a motorcycle cruise-in starting that evening, so I'm sure they do have some busier times. Thanks for watching!
I got to see some of OKC last year. I loved Bricktown's the river walk! I didn't get to see much of anything else there but I will be back!!! I loved it. I can't wait to go back! I am a small town girl, I felt comfortable there. So much so, I have been thinking about relocating there. Thanks for sharing your experience there. I didn't know about the military museum. My husband, USMC, would like to see that.
Cathy and I both came from smaller towns, but OKC did feel very comfortable. But there is SO much to see and do there. Thanks for coming along with us.
I liked the first couple sculptures best, because they were simple. They made prettier pictures, with just the plain metal with their scenic backgrounds.
@@ly2sing thanks for coming along with us! All of them were impressive - we're told the locals like the pheasants at sunset, and the fish were really impressive.
I am privileged to enjoy this park on a daily basis. Not camping, just dog walking. There is a feature I think warrants a mentioning, an eighteen hole disc golf course.
Thank you for visiting our town. My wife and I own the pharmacy that is located in the large bank building on the corner of Main Street. One point of clarification I would like to make is that the stone that is carved by the native americans is called pipestone. Pipestone is a very soft rock that is found between quartzite layers. In contrast, quartzite is a very hard rock which makes it a good building material. The large difference in hardness is the reason why it must be quarried by hand at the monument. Explosives and pneumatic hammer drills would cause too much vibration and shock waves which would fracture the pipestone and make it useless to carve.
Thanks for watching! I can't really answer that, as we have never went with satellite. We have used Verizon and T-mobile on all of our travels, and with only a couple of exceptions have had no issue getting internet to stream and upload.
You need to tour the Joslyn Castle, you missed so much of the true history of the house. Mrs Joslyn would go up on the widow walk because she could see the River and River boats and ships from up there. My son was a ground keeper there through high school. Definitely go back to the botanical garden, take the tram tour, it's totally worth it.
We definitely would love to tour the castle - it was closed the day we were there for the primary election. It gives us another reason to come back to Omaha again. Thanks for watching!
Totally agree - I don't understand why some campgrounds have spent the money on campsites that they have and still manage to leave them so terribly unlevel. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for the reviews. I always enjoy the way you open your videos with some tips on entering the campground. 👍👍👍. Just want to add that I love your positive disposition! That helps when your RV Ing….. Take care
