I don’t have the courage to say this to your face but I saw this notification and I instantly got filled with rage. I’m graduating with a 2:2 and it took me a lot to get out of a depressed state. You say God made you intelligent and he helped you. Then where was God for me? I literally entered the university with God. All my life I’ve loved God. I’m not one to use someone’s past against them but if people were to judge they would say I should be deserving of graduating with a better grade. Your title is really pissing me off. And I don’t even think it’s you I’m angry at. Of course you’re not supposed to create titles to make your viewers happy and I’m definitely not entitled to it but this one makes me angry and I just can’t help it. I’m angry at myself. I’m angry at God. I try so much not to think that this grade will be on my name forever and reading your title brought me back to very painful memories
So am I not under the covering of God? Who do I pray to everyday? Who have I been worshipping my whole life? Why do you get to graduate with a 2:1 and I don’t. God himself knows I worked so hard for this.
To be honest, I’m not angry at you. I’m really not. Your title is pissing me off sure but it’s not you I’m angry at. Most times I pray and I swear I feel like he’s not even listening. I feel like I’m wasting my time. I feel like he has abandoned me. So congratulations to you
Hello, How are you? My journey with God is far from perfect but one thing I learned from Job is despite everything He went through He still held onto God. Me getting 2.1 took the grace of God and me also putting in the energy and trusting God. Often times when life gets hard our faith grows weary even till now there are moments I get weary but I’m able to be vulnerable with God and I drop myself at His feet. Always consecrate yourself. There were friends of mine that couldn’t graduate and they’re intelligent as well. They still maintained gratitude. In every situation let’s give thanks to God. Despite everything David did He was still the man after God’s heart. You should start from a place of rejoicing with people who are where you want to be and the Lord that did it for one would do it for the rest. At the end of the day it goes to the matter of your heart and how much you would cling onto God even in though times. My dear The devil has done a lot of things to me to test me and push my limits but I always hold onto God and cry to Him.
Don’t worry I don’t think there’s anything you can do to help. Thank you. I did put in the work but it wasn’t good enough. You’re right about giving thanks to God though. I’ll try to do more of that.
It's not a cakewalk, you can fall so many times but the Holy Spirit is always there to pick us up. It's like being a child, we fall many times as children but as we grow older, those small things on the road that used to fall us down might just trip us. Then when we become mature, we stand as adults, perfected in Christ. No pressure, John said something about it in 1 John 2
