I don't understand why you didn't use a torch wrench or whatever they're called to tighten that chain really tight. I've never seen anyone. Just use their hands.
I browsed Oliver's RU-vid channel and not seeing a video that lists the proper grease to purchase for lubing the Jacks. If anyone can provide the link to where this can be found, this would be great. Thanks!
Aluminum tank water heaters do not need nor benefit from having an anode rod. You create a dangerous situation when replacing the plastic cap with an anode rod. That plastic cap is a fail safe incase your relief valve fails
I drove nearly 840 miles just to see the factory, and I was impressed. I still don't have one, but I'm hoping I get some good news about my health! I'm ready.
If the ball is not lined up for the chain attachment, you can coax the ball assembly loose in the friction material with a rubber mallet from the bottom side. It can then be twisted by hand with a short extension. No need to move the vehicle and trailer around to line up.
The side dinette is nice because you dont have to convert the rear dinette to a bed every night, which is a downfall of the smaller campers imo.... In my camper the rear dinette always stays as the bed.
Thank you Oliver Travel Trailers for coming to our dealership. We had an amazing time learning from your reps about these awesome campers. We are excited to be a part of the Oliver Travel Trailer family! @Olivertraveltrailers
Hi Paul, thanks for the feedback and we just wrote an article about the wet bath. You can read more about the benefits of the Oliver's Wet Bath which helps make it easier to maintain and keep clean thanks to the innovative molded fiberglass design: olivertraveltrailers.com/blog/why-you-need-a-wet-bath-in-your-camper/
I do like that Oliver is doing this. I plan to hit a dealer on a road trip with my girlfriend so she can see the Oliver. I previously visited an Oliver owner to see one but this gives another avenue.
nice, but you give up too much space. I was looking at and prefer Outdoor RV as they have good build quality but also a variety of larger units to suit the needs of more people.
The only thing bad about this Short is that anyone and everyone will want one or something similar just because they saw it here it's kinda indictave of today's society to get things as a status symbol 😢
Hi Rodney, there is a whole discussion about "regrets" if any on our Owner's Forums found here: olivertraveltrailers.com/forums/topic/2800-oliver-regrets/

Needs Smart Plug, still can have nice cover, but easier to have if you are handicapped. Love the sewer hose can stay hooked up. Wish it had an option for massarater toilet, not hose, just toilet. Would be easier to clean. Larger fridge and freezer and little deeper sink. Thank you for listening to an old lady, who is handicapped. Overall love the Oliver elite 11
Any issues with lithium batteries catching fire... like we hear so much about with EVs and e-bikes etc? A local police station just burned to the ground because of a couple e-bikes charging in a back room...
It seems to have a decent trailer you have to upgrade everything. 4 seasons? It can get below zero on snow boarding/ snow skiing etc. Batteries need yo be inside or they'd be gone the first-time ya left the trailer. Better hope battery on keyless entry doesnt die or your up the creek. Nice trailer but way over priced.
Hi @guywhisner850, you may find a lot of information about the 4 season capabilities of an Oliver Travel Trailer on our website here: olivertraveltrailers.com/travel-trailers/4-season/
What are the expenses of a compost toilet. Is it easy to learn what you have to do with it? Will the RV smell with a compost toilet? How does this work with a wet bath?
