I am definitely learning from scratch. I already felt I had an understanding on some of these things and went from being Jewish to mainly spiritual. I feel like we are all one and connected. Nothing ever felt right to me and I became a part so many religions but nothing felt right for me. A Hindu friend and I had a long conversation about Hinduism and I felt like everything clicked. Sanatana Dharma is the mother/Umbrella under which all schools of thought/ reasoning to understand the true nature of this world which resulted in various spiritual disciplines to explore oneself are developed,rituals that help us feel grounded /disciplined etc. are welcomed. Also, it is the person who comes from outside this eco system explores it in detail and so they (such as Melissa ji) are best suited to make Hindus (born but not explored it yet) realize these aspects about Sanatana Dharma. HINOs Hindus in name only folks are busy fighting for their caste rights and oblivious to these themes of Hinduism.
