Nora must have seriously loved Boyet because she was so affected by the breakup and the failed marriage eventually which made her turn to alcohol and cigarette smoking much to her physical destruction especially now in her old age. I wonder if Boyet really loved her because it seemed that it was so easy for him to leave and have another relationship. In his write-ups, it is very obvious that he avoids acknowledging Nora. It is unfortunate that no one came to her rescue during the storm in her life, to point her to the right path, to help her overcome and be victorious. She needs Jesus and it's not too late.

she was treated like literally a pig in this film by her employers. This film is very heartbreaking and sad. The protagonist doesnt deserve the hate and suffering. She only wants to survive and send money to her parents who pushed her to work as a maid. This is realistically what is happenning in our society esp. back then people treat maids as slaves.
