Nice, I don't' have baskets and just used 2 bricks. Just started in to kettle cooking with a well used 22". Still figuring out what I want or need. Baskets may be something on he list now.
Thanks brother. That's pair # 3 also. I'll have to get another pair when I come to SA when my son graduates basic. Lackland AFB.........that should be close enough to you !
Cool looking drum smoker you got there Kent. Brisket looked good. As for the cool middle name, it would have to be Tyrone, I feel that gives street cred to anyone.
No sorry, it's Newland not Newman. Although Ryan Newman is a pretty good guy too. I met him about 29 years ago. Thanks for watching and yes, the customer was very hapoy with the brisket. Cheers!
What in the Corn Bread Hell AR-2 D2 are you cooking on Kent. That thing is fancy. Glad to see that you ain't just turning the dial up so more Pellets fall in. Got to love the Bloopers.
@@doctorwade927 Thank you for stopping by. Yes, I burned the liner out. 450* for about an hour . The charcoal basket came with the kit from udsparts.com
First make the charcoal basket and set it on the grate, then take the basket and grate together and set it on top of whatever you are using as your deflector plate. Trace the grate and mark a straight line where it meets the charcoal basket. It will work great for you !
Okay, like a couple of others, my baskets have been sitting around for more than a couple of years. I'm going to make this when I get home from vacation. 😀 Thanks for the idea
