I do a few events and go to a few others so there is always event videos with the typical ribbing of friends...like a frat house, only I didn't go to college. Sometimes very evident I didn't!!

Indeed, those are absolutely "Shenanigans". Suggestion for next time, take a good phone, put it in high frame rate video, 120fps or more, lay it flat on the ground under where the bike and heli will cross. ;)
The turbine is a two stage type. Instead of being directly connected to the mechanics, there is another turbine wheel spun by the exhaust that drives the mechanics. Think it’s an SP-5

@@filippononze6046 it’s an 800 size Roban UH-1 and I’m not sure where this gentlemen got the jeep, or what size it is. I’m assuming it’s a 1/10th scale jeep.
Jeep is from Rochobby 1/6 scale the trailer was scratch made and the UH1 is an 800 roban. Thanks for the video! It was an AMAZING time. Will definitely be going back.
@@JestRRYou'll get better results with a tripod if using phone or camcorder, then using any onboad stabilisation. For tracking Heli's and Wings like this, gimbals that can be operated remotely, like a pan/tilt head for FPV, but with Zoom as well, are the best solution. For tracking Heli's doing 3D, yer basically screwed regardless of gear used,..... 😂
Oh, that answers a question. I just ask it is a Roban that means I’m in luck because I own a kit and if it flies like that, I’m excited. He definitely added some extra scale to it for sure. Mine does not have all of that but mine is the military version.
I really wanted to make it this year, but I didn’t get home in time to get there with some helis. I may need to buy a shirt to say I was there in spirit.
It’s more of an ease of manufacturing. Some blades from Vario do have some twist, but a lot of things that are on the full size, don’t transfer over to models as well.
Mike. I love your videos and always learn from each and every video. Thank you for all your contributions to scale heli builds and flights. Assembling mechs for a to an 429 and this video is perfect to make sure my setup goes right.
