Comicgeddon TV, brings something to the community that was lost when Wizard Magazine became an exclusive convention promoter. And even now, Conventions are occurring to often they're losing attendance. But Comicgeddon TV is there to fill the gap. We focus on Dramatically narrating comic books panel by panel in a similar manner as Comicstorian. We focus on bringing to you the history of lesser known characters and publishers similar to Comics Explained. We focus on bringing you Toy and Funko Pop Reviews in the same manner as The Review Spot. We focus on comic book reviews in the same manner as Caped Joel. We Focus on TV show and Movie Reviews similar to Jeremy Jahns or Chris Stuckmann. We focus on Horror like Hermie and StitchedTogetherPics. We hope to not only build our audience but also our team of creators. When we say that Comicgeddon TV is where All Geek Culture Collides, we mean it.
The 1975 movie....two years before a 1977 Space Fantasy movie....Doc Savage would have been a blockbuster in the creative hands of Lucas and Spielberg...instead of a safe ,campy WB action flick
I recently rewatched the series. Second season theres a shift. Quality drops, it's not super significant but it seems like whoever was building the story left. So theres this huge disconnect. It doesn't look well for the series. But before that its neat. Used to watch it sundays.
It’s funny how much good these shows actually did. We need family friendly and family oriented shows that show life. Everyone likes to go by race or gender now but back then neither matter
HELLO EVERYONE, I have known Doc Savage since I was a child because of some stickers of Spanish origin that circulated in my country, Chile, and also because of the movie with Ely rum. Furthermore, he was mentioned in some newspaper notes that I also read as a child. Over time I found studies on this character and the editions of Editorial Molino. Today I am lucky enough to draw for magazines that are dedicated to this iconic character. Greetings from Chile!!
As much as I loved tgif back in the day, I really don't think its a good idea to bring it back now. In this day and age of streaming everything u wanna watch, a program block like tgif wouldn't work. Alot of people don't have cable anymore/watch TV, and there's just sum 90s things that should be left in the 90s instead of bringing it back. Gotta know when to keep stuff as just a memory and move on instead of bringing something back only to see it die and have that as ur new memory
1. He also came with a gun, which you do not have and I think the pinting finger is not only good for display, but to be a trigger finger. 2. I would take fingernail clippers and a box cutter to remove the excess spur bits and even them out for the wapons.
No one knows where immortals come from, theyre always foundlings... so no one even knows if theyre born from mortal parents or if theyre divinely created.
loved the way charlton let their artists have artistic discretion and as such, the jim aparo/pat boyette versions of phantom were favorites and are still in my pc today.......
(1) the medical procedure was her 11th, not the 7th; (2) she thought she was ugly; she did not think the other people were ugly; she wanted the medical procedure to make her look like them; she was afraid of them because they were going to ship her into exile, not because she thought they looked scary; (3) two actresses played the role: the actress in the bandages was Maxine Stuart (42 at that time); the actress after the bandages were removed was Donna Douglas (28 at that time).
Please just let it go. No one can ever catch the feel and enjoyment that that show gave us as kids. Remakes, make everyone sad because you can't capture that unique spark in a jar and hope to smear it on today's actors. No matter how much makeup you use. Why? Because it addressed very subtly the social issues of the 60's that ironically the kids got and the parents missed. Please, no remakes. 🙏❤❤❤
Alex Toth of Warren magazines was incredible, some of the greatest black and white comic art ever in the 60's and 70's. His inventive genius and character design are all over this show, and I think that is what made the show great. Also Ted Cassidy "Lurch" from the Addams Family voiced the rock monster! What more do you need?
Can you do more History and Origins episodes on Inspector Gadget, Heathcliff, Wolf Rock TV, C.O.P.S./CYBER-C.O.P.S., Tiny Toons, Adventures of T-Rex, Double Dragon, Biker Mice From Mars, Mega Man, Tenko & The Guardians of the Magic, Samurai Pizza Cats, Bruno The Kid, Mummies Alive, etc.?
I do have plans on doing most of those, but as stated in my most recent history and origins videos, my time is limited for at least another year as I complete my Masters degree, and History and Origins videos take a lot to produce... you have the time it takes for research, the time to write the script, the time to film, and the time to edit... so I can only put out a few history and origins videos every so often right now.
Everytime I see The Chief on "Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego?", he just looked like Egon Spengler from The Real Ghostbusters & Slimer And The Real Ghostbuters animated shows, imbued with Max Headroom's personality, and the villain Lee Jordan is a slightly-modified Peter Venkman. The rest of the characters Zack and Ivy look like Ma-Ti, Wheeler, and Linka extras from Captain Planet. Carmen Sandiego herself looks uncomfortably like Gaia from Captain Planet and Michael Jackson. But there's a reason for that; DiC also did Captain Planet. I hate how the Chief of Acme is just a floating, surreal head. They should have a) made the chief an android/robot b) have the hologram be a live image of a human Chief with a complete body c) have the chief be a human that talks to Zack and Ivy in person.
I was going to junior high & school when I watched "Fox Kids", and I currently have some of their shows on DVD like, "Batman: The Animated Series", "Spider-Man: Animated Series", "X-Men: Animated Series", the Marvel Action Hour with both the "Fantastic Four" & "Iron Man", "Where On Earth Is Carmen Santiago?", "Casper", "Beetlejuice", "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers", "Transformers: Beast Wars" "Transformers: Beast Machines", "Street Sharks", "Power Rangers: Zeo", Power Rangers: Turbo", "Power Rangers: In Space" "Power Rangers: Lost Galaxy", & "Digimon".
I remember the cartoon show kicked azz. Took awhile to get into the comics but couldn't resist afterwards. Mantra, prime, ultraforce, lord pumpkin! I was hooked. How id like to relive this and have bought my favorites when they were fresh off the press. Great comics, slurpees and my favorite batman tight briefs. Awww miss the 90s
Ten cents a piece!? Holy fudge packets id have bought 200 comics. Whats wrong with you!? Sad to see a comic shop go. saw the end of battleground comics here and its like the end of childhood. You should always remember and know that goes with you. Never leave that part of it behind.
