Correlation does not equal causation. Stress can trigger autoimmune disorders and stressed people are more likely to have anxiety and pick at themselves.
i have a picky pad coming tomorrow, i struggle with anxiety, adhd, and torettes and i picky my skin and nails to the point they bleed so i really hope this will help 🙏🏻💙
I bite my nails pick the skin close to my nails sometimes stress lol and bite the skin next to my nails so Yh it’s a really bad habit and I’m a bit insecure bc my hands sometimes look terrible. Sry for venting a lil bit ima make one tho!
That’s just not true. Modern studies show BFRBs are equally prevalent in male and female populations. However, women are more likely to seek help for BFRBs.
A picky pad is a stress toy/distraction designed to help people with anxiety, mental health problems, and suicidal thoughts or just picking at your skin and personal it distract you from hurting yourself/picking out your skin. If you pick out your skin it can cause patches and blood/blood splatter. You can use Elmer’s glue or hot glue. How do use hot glue cause it stays together easier you can use whatever type of beats you desire and you can have a mold or just use a cup shake them i’m pretty sure if you order one. It has Vaseline in it. I hope this helps by the way I took all of this info from my brain so if I got something wrong, please correct me!
Do you have to be a walking stereotype? Why do you need to hear it’ll work with “adhd”. It’s something to do you decide yourself if you like it or not…
@@creativesparks2164 its almost as if they're asking a question to better help decide for themselves whether this product could be of use to them. But obviously they should be called a walking stereotype and shamed. Round of applause, people.
Plus I feel like you could also use the beads if you like making jewelry like I do, I also have really bad anxiety so having something to pick at and then get cool beads out of it sounds like a win/win to me.
Check out my shop. I have the pads premade for you in trays. Then when you’ve picked your entire picky pad out you will use your tray as a mold to create new picky pads. Refill kits also available in the shop 🤩
